Evenfall says, draw oviraptors! So here's a little colored in doodle.

Oviraptor, named "egg thief" because its skull was found near a nest of eggs thought to belong to Protoceratops. Cue years of paleoart depicting brave Protoceratops parents (almost always a male-female couple, because as everyone knows dinosaurs were Republicans) protecting their unborn young from a skulking, slavering Oviraptor.

Turns out this was vile slander - when fossil embryos were found inside the eggs, they were clearly oviraptors. Oops. The skull was nearby because the oviraptorid (genus Citipati) was brooding like a hen. But that's the great thing about science: it marches on and corrects itself.
