Evenfall says, draw oviraptors! So here's a little colored in doodle.Oviraptor, named "egg thief" because its skull was found near a nest of eggs thought to belong to Protoceratops. Cue years of paleoart depicting brave Protoceratops parents (almost always a male-female couple, because as everyone knows dinosaurs were Republicans) protecting their unborn young from a skulking, slavering Oviraptor.
Turns out this was vile slander - when fossil embryos were found inside the eggs, they were clearly oviraptors. Oops. The skull was nearby because the oviraptorid (genus Citipati) was brooding like a hen. But that's the great thing about science: it marches on and corrects itself.

That is...like...my favorite drawing of a baby dinosaur ever! XD, seriously, I love the fact that its not all perfect and majestic and looks like an actual baby animal not a clone of an adult ( one of the things that annoys me in lots of paleo art is how...strangely perfect all the animals seem to be portrayed) And also...YAAAY OVIRAPTORS!
