Sweetie belle is looking at a photo album, its filled with pictures of good times together. And more specifically, showing Scootaloo and Applebloom have gotten their cutie marks. Sweetie bell has not, and is the 'last crusader.' Sweetie belle is sad, applebloom and scootaloo take notice in the last panel.

Nice one! The photos are pleasantly jumbled and makes me want to figure out the background story to some of them.

actually... they DO have a background story... but i was too lazy to do both crusaders stories... and i wanted to keep focused in sweetie's side of the plan.. ^-^

What's the one with Applebloom and Scootaloo fighting, then somepony walking away, then somepony clutching their cape thingy? Did you come up with that or am I missing something?

actually... i had a story for that.. where scootaloo gets her cutiemark, but applebloom gets tired from her bragging/showing off and they get into and argument.. something like "since you have your cutiemark you are not a crusader anymore" "FINE I'LL LEAVE" " FINE!!" "and keep your stoopid cape DX" ...something like that... ending with scoo's leaving the group... but then applebloom regrets all that and sad stuff happens again... then apple cutiemark and it's her time to leave the crusading... D:

There was a similar story already written actually XB Scoot and then Sweetie get their marks and applebloom doesn't. The two of them get so caught up in their new activities that earned the marks that they leave applebloom in the dust friendship wise. The strain causes a big fight and applebloom leaves; and it takes a talk from the sisters/idol of each of the crusaders to try and save their friendship.

Then the author kinda pulled a bleh ending and appleblooms cutiemark WAS friendship, and had little heads of the crusaders and zecora and the like for a cutie mark. Decent story, unsatisfying ending. Maybe you can write a better one <3

actually... sip can't even write to save his little butt... i prefer comic side of the story ^-^U...
