You aren't guaranteed to actually receive a request unlike art trades are a picture for a picture.

You said you should have a fair shot at getting your OC drawn, which basically translates as, "If you were fair, you'd draw me something."

You do realise the only reason he drew that guy's OC was because he drew him a great picture in return? Maybe if YOU draw him a high standard picture or even buy a commission in return for him, he might draw your OC.

If you aren't prepared to do that, either shut up or request canon/back ground characters like the rest of us.

Hell, you should be kissing his ass. Do you know how many artists do this many requests for their watchers? Most artists only do them for friends, or want payment, or hell, some don't even do any for anyone else at all.

No, I understand completely. You want someone to draw you free art of your character and you somehow think the best way to get him to do it is to whine at him.

You don't deserve anything. He can draw art for whoever he chooses. If he doesn't want to draw OCs, that's his choice, you have no right to tell him that he should draw OCs just because you want free art.

i am, first of all, not whining. i have understood he don't draw ocs on requests, and that i can't pay him real life money (bad economy, and it's not a lie) so i have requested a pict of 4 canons as i said, and already asked about ocs.

seeing him doing this made me go HUH? but after seeing his explonation i udnerstand his reason.

Glad we have all come to a civil conclusion. Now back to what really matters in life, more macro pone.

just hope and wish ppl understand that what i ment was that it would be funny to be able to request for an oc pony with a canon, but seeing that's not the case, all you can do is hope, and request canon ponies

Guys I don't want to pick a fight or anything, but they should be able to decide what they would like to draw. It may annoy others, but we shouldn't complain if the art they're drawing is for us.
