Hm... if I understand what you're saying you could probably achieve that effect by submitting the 'just diamond' image at first, then changing the thumbnail real quick after the fact to the cutesy version and have people refresh or whatever. sort of an obvious solution tho, so probably not what you had in mind.. haha

Well, like, I don't know how to word it. It's like the background is completely transparent, and I've seen some images where when you see the picture, it's got like a white or black background. But when you click to full view, that white/black bg is gone. I don't think I can achieve that since I only have SAI.

Ooh, I gotcha. So you wanna make it so the transparent bits in the version you mention don't automatically turn white/black or whatever in the thumbnail? I've found you can get around that by eyedropping the background colour from the FA page (just take a screenshot and go from there) and replacing the transparencies with that colour.

Actually just looked it up for ya... it's HTML notation 2e3b41 (dunno if SAI supports that but I use GIMP so yeah). Looks ugly as hell by itself but when used in-context doesn't look too terrible. But then again, FA automatically adds that fugly thin teal border around thumbnails now as part of the 'new layout' thing so I dunno :x haha. #graphicsdesignnerd

and I dunno what it is, but there's just something about your usage of colour in this that makes it pop haha. The new BG thinger is just the icing on the cake! x3

I thought about doing that, but then it would give it away for people who use the dark theme for their FA layout. But as long as it's the light blue theme, I'm in the clear!!! Lol.
