And I recently realized why I find avian fur (feather?) suits particularly intriguing: bird beaks are immobile by nature (as opposed to the rubbery/flexible ones cartoon birds have); when someone's costumed as a bird s/he seems much more like a real anthro than a person wearing a mascot suit with a frozen-in-place expression.

...I absolutely adore the character design. I've seen avians with wing arms (feathers acting like fingers), and avians with wings attached to human arms, but this... This is marvelous! A lovely fusion, and so wonderfully drawn!
