all right to be bitter. As far as i´ve seen the character isnt handicapped in annyway. just a bit absent minded and klutzy.
And know what, even if she was mentally challanged in annyway it whould still fit the premis of a show that teaches acceptence and respect towards others, maybe those lowlife that got her changed wants to live in a world where all undesirble elements of the human race is whiped oit to keep it pure, if so, 1933 germany called. If they on the other hand have reletives or family with mental challanges and they fear that the show mocks them, then take a closer look at it. I recall whean south park introduced Jimmy and Timmy and the outrage about that, but now there some of the most well liked characters.

I wouldn't be surprised if people tried to "protect" Zach Anner. And he's a real person. What's really annoying is that they don't seem to get why goofy or stupid characters are so popular. It's cause we've all felt like that. Like we were complete fuck ups and we couldn't do anything right. People related to that as only raging ego-maniacs who are completely incapable of acknowledging their own mistakes are the only ones who've never felt that way. Who hasn't watched Goofy in one of his "how to" videos and thought "Man,I've been there."?

Mentally,yeah,but look at him. Wall eyed,talks funny,stuck in a wheelchair. If he was a cartoon character,he'd never be allowed on TV if the disablists had their way.

Although the hype spammed all over the internet, I just watched one episode a few months ago. I quite enjoyed, and for sure it's the best representation of the franchise to date, but didn't care to search for more yet. I've seen a lot of fanart that actually looks a bit better than the official artwork (Ajin works, for example), and for some reason the cut-out animation looks more obvious on this show in comparison with some others. I might watch another episodes in the future, but for now I'm focused on other shows. My favorite of this new batch is 'Gumball'.
