Paint Tool Sai: The Basics, Part 2: Basic Painting Tools
(Edit: I've made a new version of this one -- go here to see it instead!)
Well, I'm not sure how good this one is. I start with basic stuff and then try to describe all the tool settings, and a lot of those are things that nobody ever needs to touch. For some of them, I can't even tell if they have an effect at all, like the quality pulldown and the edge hardness slider. But what I'm trying to get across is the fact that there are tool types, and then there are tools -- you can have as many as you want of the same type. The tool type affects what settings there are; the tool affects what values they have.
I think Sai should have all of its stylus pressure controls in the same place, too -- Min Size should be down there with Min Density.
Anyway, I think the next one's going to be about selections -- selecting an area, changing what you have selected, and what you can do once something's selected. Assuming somebody is interested anyway.
