Ah... well I suppose it's just that I put a lot of love into this one, and I'm not personally willing to part with her for less. If that makes sense? Doesn't really sound like it helps me out that much :P But a lot of people who buy adoptables, buy them because they aren't as good at thinking up the details/design for characters, or they just happen to like a design that's already been made better. :3
*nods* I never was into adoptables myself simply because I don't have different characters. I only have "me", if you want... While a shapeshifter, and different shapes being somewhat different in personality, it all is still me. Usually with nothing too fancy outwardly (you won't tell me doe from any other except by a couple accessories, for example), but very distinct personality.
And yeah, now I see that, and after rereading my post, also thought of one more reason -- like... Designer dresses... "Elephant by Vera". A brand, essentially :) And the value of owning the prototype one vs series model.
