I was asked how the sulky looked like, before I started refurbishing it. So here we go.
As you can see the original res paint was in pretty bad shape, as were most other parts. Besides, I didn't like the color too well. It looked too much like a wannabe Ferrari to me whereas I was looking for something more classy. If you're interested in it: The metal parts got a powder coating for more durability.
I added a picture of the parts just after removing the old paint. The wooden parts were a real pain and I had to give them more than one go with sandpaper. The sulky's metal parts received a sandblast cleaning. Can you tell, where the two seams are? I had the sulky slimed down by six inches to make it easier to fit into the car and to make it look nicer.
Will go to scraps later
