Without warning, Rarity ballooned in size, her immense middle bulging in all directions at once before settling again. Fluttershy could only assume that the unicorn had tried to use her magic. Her legs and neck had been pulled further into her lightly sloshing body as well, creating the illusion that they were receding. Still, she had been lifted so high off the floor by her belly that her hooves had no hope of reaching, much less walking.

Rarity continued to struggle anyway, succeeding in little more than making herself slosh. The colors in her face swirled angrily, nearly saturating her cheeks as they continued to swell up against her eyes. Even her forehead and ears were starting to turn violet.

“Don’t bother trying to take it off, though.”

A look of disgust replaced Rarity’s shock. “This it isn’t funny anymore!”

Fluttershy tilted her head. “I’m not laughing.”

“Why are you doing this to me?” Her expression softened, pleading with her eyes. “Did I do something wrong? Did I offend you somehow? Whatever it is, dear, we can talk about it, but for the love of Celestia, stop this!”

“Why am I doing this?” Fluttershy grinned, starting to glow a bright green. “Well, let me tell you a story...”
