A phoenix character I posted on my old account. He's a powerful phoenix-dragon hybrid with a god complex. Once a meek and humble bird anthro, his obsession with fire and desire to destroy the oppressive government led him down the path of soul forging, in which he bound the soul of a dragon to himself, and unlocked his lost phoenix ancestry. With that, he helped destroy the evil ruler and was hailed as a hero, but things changed quickly as he went around destroying anything he deemed "oppressive" and acquiring more and more power, seeking to become equal to the gods themselves.
