all 16 reindeer + their 2 male team leaders (Rudolph and his friend Scratch). This'll be a good reference for when I sketch them all up entirely. Things about them will change in some instances while I'm redrawing them - but that's kind of the fun with these studies isn't it? :3

Most male reindeer drop their antlers in winter (or so I've read...I'm not a scientist of nature so if I'm wrong...I'm wrong) so the boys don't have 'em.

These are the flat colors for these reindeer. Usually I start with a darker color so if these seem dark...that's the reason:D.

Comet: Comet was first drawn on Dr. Comet's oekaki as the tribute to him so she has comet looking markings on her eyes.

Blitzen: Blitzen always come down to 'blitzkrieg' in my mind so I wanted that star to signify a kind of 'burst' which is also reflected in her attitude.

Vixen: No idea on this one...I drew her so long ago the reason between the stripe going up and down her body is lost on me. I do like her purple eyes though.

Cupid: Pink...valentines...hearts, piercings. Y'know...love stuff.

Donner: Donner has a kind of manly name. So I wanted to make her a little butch but still cute as a button. So she's a very very basic reindeer but she's got that kick ass sports stuff on her cheeks (why is that so sexy?).

Dasher: Dasher's the show-horse. I wanted to make a really cute/pretty reindeer that's...uh...y'know, dashing.

Dancer and Prancer: I'm not sure about this coloring yet, but these two are two of the closer friends in their bunch. I went with a lemon/lime color scheme on this one as a way to fuck around and see what I liked...but I ended up liking it so I kept it.

Rudolph: Golden brown fur, red nose. Shags the good girls. Nuff said XD

Scratch: oh Mr. Scratch. He turned out pretty evil looking. Shags the bad girls. End of story.

Malice: I think malices first name was Fallout. But I like malice too, in the final picture she may have a nuclear symbol somewhere on her body.

Contempt: One of the original few evil reindeer. Contempt likes to work within the boundries of goodness until she gets the chance to fuck you over proper ^^.

Agony: Agony is the most evil of all the bad reindeer. Agony thrives on sadism.

Disdain: Disdain was the first evil reindeer I drew.

Cruelty: May lose the hair in her final version.

Plague: Eerilly dead looking, yet living. Plague is now my favorite creepy looking girl, this may get her drawn more XD.

Wrath: Well...Wrath is wrath...just don't cross her and you may get to sit under the mistletoe with those amazing knockers for a little bit longer.

Animosity: Causing discontent wherever she may go - a mistress of chaos the young reindeer sports a fiery red coat and is blind in her left eye. Your classic dominatrix.

Story: There is no story behind these characters. This is just a fun project for me that lets me TRY to stretch out creatively. Even if a failure, I feel that this is a good excercise and a worthy challenge.
