When I got commissioned by , I was sure I was going to paint his sweet character in her original pony form. I was asked to make her an anthro though, which proved to be even more fun!

I actually suck at drawing horses, so I needed to make some serious research of the pony species, and decided to chose exmoor pony as my main reference (they rock!). Second stage consisted of tons of bodybuilding women, since BlitzStar is a lieutenant in Royal Equestrian Army and a tough mare.
Then - from the original pony helmet and horseshoes - I had to design the armor, I am especially satisfied with.

Last challenge wasn't the feathers, but the sweat, which kept me up till 4:30 a.m.

Finally I can say that horse anthro is extremely rewarding and I defintely neet to practise more horses drawing.
