So yeah, you're not alone here. I think most of us go through that at some point or another.

(shrug) The way I see it, I've been here in the fandom for nearly a quarter-century. I just go and have fun, and don't sweat the details all that much. :D

I miss my friends deeply and it's hard ridding the social waves just to keep up with them. But I'm glad for the time that we had together even if it was brief. *hugs* I miss you.

idk sj. i guess that's why i don't consider myself a furry? i mean i love coming on here and chatting with people and when i find good art on here it gets me really excited! but yeah there is so much crap that comes with the good... i would just take it with a grain of salt.

But seriously, if your friends are ignoring you, that's their fault. Start by telling them how you feel. If they laugh, f*** cough forget about them. Trolls notwithstanding, there are more new furries everyday to make friends with.

It goes without saying that your true friends will always love you back ^_^ and never forget about you! Its true that in this fandom it just seems that the newest, craziest thing gets all the attention, and whoever attaches to that will also get notices..

Its a little like the gay community also..the loud and flamboyant ones get the spotlight, and thus we are all seen as being that way. Most of us that have a decent head on our shoulders just get shrugged to the side, which is just fine hehe.

Sad but true... Its like you have to draw a fox with a cock the size of a grand piano (IN FULL COLOR) to get noticed around here. And when you begin to become known the majority only want to be close to you because of your art.
