My my my, talk about unexpected. I was going to submit a few things here on FA and lucky me I chose the day that it went down. XD Glad it's back up though. I missed seeing art from people. So, for the meager few who are actually watching me, how are things? :3
It's finally December. Time for everyone to freak out for finals, freeze their butts off whether intentionally or not, and spend a buttload of cash on other people. Don't you just love the holiday seaon? :P All joking aside, the holidays really are a great time for me. It always feels like a spirit lifter whenever I walk around and see all the decorations. Plus, it's nice to be with those you care about right?
Now to take care of some business that really should have been done last month. Clearly, it's not November anymore. Unless time screwed up somewhere and we're going in reverse. I had been feverishly (literally and figuratively) working on a few drawings for some awesome people here on FA. It was going to be my "Nov Thanx" project. I wanted to test it out now so that way I could do it again next year. However, I was unable to meet both my deadlines. My first one was supposed to be before Thanksgiving but I hadn't finished by then. My next deadline was at the end of the month. That didn't go as planned since FA went down for quite a while. So now it's December and I have pictures that were supposed to be up in November. How nice. XP
I want to go into full detail about my project but I think it's past time for that now. I will say that each drawing had a specific purpose and I gave my reason as to why I was thankful for that person. The descriptions in the drawings will have to speak for themselves. Also, I want to apologize to the people that I DID do drawings for. Personally, I really feel like they could have come out much nicer. There are certain things that I'm really proud of and others that make me cringe with disappointment. But I don't want to be bumming about it the whole time. I know I'm still learning and I did learn a few things with this little project so that's a step in the right direction.
