Bad Idea #46: Playing the ponies (not ponyplay)
Bad Ideas explained: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/321008/ Includes index.
This is no $2 bet.
It's the first "race" of the day. There are, or were, several (non-anthro) horses all ready at the starting line. Each has handler, holding it back until starting time. Each horse has a harness and there is a rope coiled behind each. At least one rope is whole with no breaks. At least one rope is actually two pieces, though the ends might be loosely attached by weak magnets. Any such connection is well hidden under the coils of rope.
A bit ago the bound male, with a bit of a harness/rope around his scrotum, was lead out and made to choose a horse and associated rope. He had a minute or two to choose for himself or someone would choose for him. This time this one chose a liver chestnut mare. Her rope was connected to his. His fate is in her... hooves? If the rope is whole.
The other horses were lead away and their ropes gathered up. In a few moments one of the handlers will send the mare galloping on her way and the rope will uncoil and then tighten as the slack is pulled taut... and then either the magnets will give and the male will survive intact, this time (he might be back for tomorrow's "races") - and the crowd might be disappointed. Or the rope will get very taut and he will be gelded by the horse.
There will be several "races" today, so the crowd isn't likely to be completely disappointed.
Variations:
* I've described what might be a crowd's-eye view of this.
* It could be a (potential) victim's eye view of things.
* Is the victim just standing there, perhaps able to run and try (and fail) to keep up?
* Are his legs hobbled so he can walk, but only just walk?
* Is he tied so he can't move at all?
* Is the horse just let loose (or swatted, or otherwise startled in moving)?
* Or is there a rider?
* (This is more for story or caption): If someone chooses for him, does she know which rope(s) are whole?
I picture handlers and any riders as female.
Although an image might not lend itself to it, can you imagine the possible names for the horses? Geldress (mare), Castratrix (mare), Babymaker Breaker, OneOfUs (gelding), I'mTheStud (stallion) and so on...
Oh, you wanted to volunteer? Yes, there are a few spots open in the next set of races. Will you be choosing for yourself or would you have one of the ladies choose for you? Oh, you want the crowd to choose? If that's what you really wish...
