2009, Year in Review...?
Currently closed for story commissions! See this journal for details if you want to look anyway.
So there's this meme going all around the site where artists post little thumbnails of a picture they did in each month of the last year, as a sort of progress report or something, kay?
I wanted to do it myself, but a picture of a bunch of story thumbnails that I didn't even draw would be fairly stupid. So I figured I'd make it a journal instead, since all my stuff is text-based anyway. Without further ado...
January
Shave and a Haircut: Vinnie goes out to get a trim, and has hot sex with a stranger instead. Fans of red-bordered material rejoice.
February
Dave and Kelly: Bad Dreams: After Dave dreams that he and Kelly get caught in flagrante delicto by their parents, he says some things that upset his lover.
March
Good Neighbours: A frustrated Vinnie meets a woman named Michelle who just moved into the building and discovers in short order that she's in heat and has him in her sights.
April
Eric and Milo: A Learning Experience: The first dude-on-dude story I ever wrote, this one depicts Eric finding his younger brother Milo getting in touch with himself on Eric's bed, and instead of getting mad, Eric offers to lend him a hand.
>_> That sounded much cheesier than the actual story, somehow.
May
A Blue's Embrace: One of my favourite stories, this one's about a human farmer who discovers an alluring blue dragoness on a trip to the big city. Joyful things ensue.
June
Dave and Kelly: First Date: In the second blue-bordered story in the series, Dave and Kelly go on a day trip far from their home so they can actually act like a couple in public without blowing their cover.
July
Good Company: A sequel to March's Good Neighbours, this one has Vinnie revealing his secret to help a distraught Michelle through a personal crisis. Emotional bonding ensues, as does hot, hot red-bordered action.
August
Dave and Kelly: While You Were Sleeping: While Dave sleeps off a night on the town with the boys, mischievous Kelly takes the opportunity to have some fun with his slumbering body.
September
Helpless: In a bit of a departure for me, this story is about a guy named Jamie who gets invited into a wizard's tower, with both the sorcerer and Jamie himself having ulterior motives.
October
Room Service: Written as a birthday present for a huge Elder Scrolls fan, this one's about an Argonian serving girl and an Orcish sword-for-hire who find something new and exciting in each other when their paths cross.
November
Eric and Milo: Rude Awakenings: Milo wakes up in the middle of the night to discover his brother with a problem. And a hard-on. Naturally, these two things are related, but fortunately, he thinks Milo can help him with both of them.
December
A Winter's Night: This one went in scraps, but it's the only thing I finished last month, so what the hell. It's about Vinnie describing his family and explaining some facets of Mokaji society to Michelle, who he's grown closer to since last we saw them.
So there's that. That was kind of fun. I'll have to do it again next year. n_n
EDIT: I did do it again the next year! Click here for 2010's version.

OP
Oh, I don't know, most of these were the only thing I wrote that month. :P

But stories take longer than art to produce. When you think that some authors can take months, even years, to produce a book, a story a month is a good time-frame.
