Puppy training
Lil miss Liza puppy is now 8 weeks old, is about 2/3rd's larger, and has tons more energy.
So at 5 weeks when she came to us and 7 weeks, she has been let outside just to go to the bathroom. She still has accidents now and then, but for the most part she is learning, and will keep her kennel clean when nobody's there, and go to the door when we are.
Her playing had started getting much more aggressive, growling and biting our shoelaces, socked feet, and my hands/arms. I decided she was old enough to go walking to get some better exercise, and started taking her out for walks using the Cesar Millan (Dog Whisperer) method.
I started reading on his theories of pack mentality and canine behavior after googling "puppy biting".
Training her this young, it was easy to get her to follow behind me and not get too distracted, or get under my feet. Doing it just once was enough to show results to peak my interest. We get back in the house and I take off my shoes/pants to get in my sleeper and she just chills with me happily without attacking my socked feet. So, instantly I am obsessed like I tend to get over everything, and read more of his stuff and started recording episodes of his show.
In other news, I really wish this whole severely cold weather thing would stop. I haven't got to ride my motorcycle in a while, and that seriously effects my mood. A mood that is way off balance to begin with.
In the arts, I have some little ideas to mess with. Perhaps some more silly icons in attempts to learn very simple cartoon making. It's a matter of motivation, I just don't have enough.
My new years resolution, to do something ...anything, besides just following the same path towards an alkie/druggie grave.
