Battletech at FC

To those interested, my mate 
Segremores and I are going to TRY and run a little Battletech game at FC.
That being said, as much as we'd LOVE to teach new folks how to play, if you want to participate, we'd ask that you at least have a grasp of the Total Warfare rules.
We're going to TRY and run it on Friday at 2:00 PM. I don't know what kind of crowd we'll have, or even whether there will be space at the game room. All we can say is we're going to try. Segremores and I will bring rule books, terrain, and I might be able to provide a limited number of miniatures. We encourage folks to bring their own mini's if at all possible.

You guys happen to live in the Bay Area? Probably not, but worth askin' I s'pose, heh.
If I do happen to be able to make it and bring my own mechs, would you want 'em Clan based or IS? Is the setting you're planning on using open field/terrain or more urban? Bleh, if I come I'll bring sheets for all of 'em, heh.
I haven't designed the map just yet, but more than likely it'll be more open terrain (with trees, hills, etc.) than city. As for whether you want to use Clan or IS, that's up to you. I plan on bringing more IS forces, since I don't get as many chances to play with them.
