Comission Information
This is what I DO draw and what I DON'T.
DO G-XXX rated pics. Any fetish outside the DON'T list.
DON'T Scat, inflation (moderate is OK), hyper (moderate is OK), muscle (moderate is OK), imitation of other artists' style.
NOTE: When commissions are not first come, first serve, SFW images will generally take precedence before kinky ones, unless otherwise specified. Same applies for original characters over fanart.
__________
Base Prices
Icons U$S 20 (Doubles $35) ExampleExample (double)
Chibi U$S 50 Example Example
Sketch U$S 30 + U$S 20 each extra character Example Example
Colored Sketch U$S 50 + U$S 30 each extra character Example Example
Inked U$S 60 + U$S 35 each extra character Example Example
Full color U$S 100 + U$S 60 each extra character Example Example
Refference sheet (starting at) U$S 150 Example Example (Old examples. I haven't done one of these in a long while.)
Colouring a lineart U$S 80 Example (Old example. I haven't done one of these in a long while.)
Background (full color, starting at) U$S 40
What my basic reference sheets include is a front and back pose of the character (inked with flat colors), three zoom-in images of any part of the body, or details of other objects (inked and fully shaded), the color palette and any other written data relevant to the commissioner, and a textured background.
Price Modifiers
WHAT MAKES IT MORE EXPENSIVE
Backgrounds Pretty straight forward. The extra charge varies with it's complexity. A given color with some texture doesn't change the price, even if you ask for one in particular.
Large complex elements It means things that will take large amounts of time to design.
Characters with no image reference When a character only has a description or written reference, it means I'm doing the designing besides the portraying, and that reflects in the price.
Complex clothing Laces, frills, accessories, belts, bondage elements, etc. Common clothing items don't necessarily change the price (unless they imply too much designing) but too many items and details do.
Complex anatomy Anything with more than five limbs counts as complex anatomy. Lots of fins, horns, membranes, tails, genitals, etc. does as well, on the basis that lots of parts imply much more work and detail of coloring.
__________
IMPORTANT
- All payment is done via PayPal.
- I reserve the right to upload (or not) your commission to my gallery, though if I do, it will be a much lower quality image than the one I send to you via mail.
- I reserve the right to refuse a commissions for any personal reason. In case you might have paid, I'll be responsible of refunding you of your payment minus whatever has been done from the picture (for example, if I've reached up to the inking, I'll refund the cost of the coloring).
__________
Disclamer
Except for icons, which are done all in one go, I work this way: I do a rough sketch of the work I was asked and mail it to my customer. Since this is for you to check that the general shapes and poses are ok, they are poorly detailed, even when the finished work isn't.
Once It's done and agreed with, I'll wait until the commission is paid and then finish the work.
Why this rough sketch system?
Because of two reasons:
First, I believe it's important that you are sure that you are receiving what you want. This way you can change anything you thought might look right but didn't, or advise me to improve something you think doesn't fit.
Second, I can't afford to be making lots of wips along the way for all my commissioners. It takes a hell of a lot of time, and the details I left outside each rough sketch are things that I'm pretty sure I can do well without major screwing ups.
This doesn't mean that I won't make any changes or show wips. I've asked for my commissioners advise and their opinion on wips when I wasn't sure of things, and I've changed things when asked.
Still, these things are very punctual and are to be discussed in each case.
Finally, keep in mind I will not work restricted to a time period. I can make exceptions on this, upon request, but I do not have a set time for how long it will take a commission to be finished. I like working on many images at the same time, so in most cases my schedules are murky.
Also, I don't bite, If you'd like to ask about anything, and I mean ANYTHING, please do, I'm always open to dialogue =3

FA+

You are my first comissioner ever, thank you so much =3
'm a bit lost wit the character names >w<

:)
I am a mess for names >0<
One question, if you don't mind helping a fellow artist who's trying to figure out comish prices... when you say that a ref price starts at $50, what does that includes? I mean how many poses, headshot etc?
What my basic reference sheets include is a front and back pose of the character (inked with flat colors), two zoom-in images of any part of the body, or details of other objects (inked and fully shaded), the color palette and any other written data relevant to the commissioner, and whichever background strikes my fancy.
The best example for what a basic ref. sheet includes would be this one: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4363115/
I generally specify to my commissioners that some things can be exchangeable... like doing a clothed version of the front image instead of a zoom in, but that is more up to you 0w0
Well, hope this was useful, and thanks a lot for the kind words ^__^
For hte time being I'm not open for any more commissions, but I am glad you are interested in them non the less =3
I'll announce when I open again in a journal.
I'll probably open for more icons soon, I'm almost out of them 0w0
Fill in this form https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet.....55eFE6MQ#gid=0 with all the details and I'll get back to you with my paypal ^^
That pic is clearly on of the best things I've ever made >w<
But there are two reasons why I cannot take your commission right now.
First, I am not open atm for bigger commissions, just for sketches, icons and chibis. I received your commission sheet and you'd have to wait for that sort of commission untill I have cleared my queue a bit (I'll post a journal advertising for this)
Second, I will work on paid fanfiction illustrations only if either you are the writer of the fic, or if the writer him/herself grants me written permission to work on the image. Particularly if you are asking for big modifications on the original concepts, like switching from p 'n p to sticky. This is simply to avoid pissing people off by tinkering with their creations without their knowledge.
I would be looking for a commission of an OC character Icon, I am a friend of darkneko and white-aster and I play on the same site. If you like, I could switch over to my DA login and we could continue this discussion there.
The same day you left your comment, someone else left me a form for a Tf commission, and since I don't get them so frequently I instantly assumed it was you *facepalm*
I have no problem discussing the details here or there, so wherever is more comfortable for you is fine for me.
If it's an icon you are looking for, I'm open for them, so just send me the information for your character and I'll note you privately my paypal.
Could you elabrate a bit, please? 0w0
The only thing you should know is that I've got a long list of to-do work right now. I'm talking several months here. I wouldn't require you to pay now of course, but I cannot speed things much.
If you are ok with waiting, then I can surely work on it.
Well, send me through a PM what characters you'll want me to use, rating range for the pic and anything else you might think relevant, and I'll add your slot.
The only thing is wha I have mentioned to Mortdread up there. I have months of due work already. I do not require paymnet before I get to your slot, but you'd still have to wait at least 4 months or so for em to ge to your pic (I think).
If you agree with this, fill the commission form up there with your informationa nd I'll get back to you when I start ont he sketch 0w0
I'll collate all my info for them both together and do a couple of form submissions for you, but I'll wait til my pay for this month has come in - as I say should only be a week or so, but I'd feel like a right bastard putting myself in a queue without the finance behind me for it You shall hear from me again very soon!! x
