BDR's Commission Rules
General
So you want to commission me, eh? Well before you do, please read these rules and abide by them for a problem free transaction.
tl;dr version:
-No Freebies
-Be Patient
-I only use messengers for friends and family, not commissioners
-No WIP Sketch unless you ask for one first
-Guilt trips and sob stories wont speed up your commission
-Payment must be sent first
-Hiatus may occur, but I will give alerts to setbacks in journals and notes
-I am willing to draw anything but scat and cub/loli/shota, I also won't draw politically charged images
-Paypal and card only
-No refunds, I am willing to fix art if needed, forced refunds come with a consequence
-Don't be a dickbutt, or no art for you
-Do not use my work to ever to be used in cryptocurrency-based transactions
Quick note: I work on a schedule, I take every other week off from my own art to do commissions. I get very stressed if my own work is hindered by commissions, so I've decided to switch between them, giving myself and my commissions ample times to themselves so that I can complete them stress free. So don't panic if you havn't seen commissions posted in a week, that just means I'm on my 'me time' week, and I will be back to commissions when the week is up.
Now on to the rules:
1.) No, I DON'T draw freebees unless I want to do it on my own. If you ask me for a freebee, you wont get one. I draw other characters I like as gift art on my own terms and according to my own liking. And don't beg for 'just a sketch' either. I can't just sketch up something quick and waste a page in my art book for something I don't even like. (yes, some people have done this)
2.) Be patient. I don't mind if you check in every once in a while and ask 'how's it coming along?' By every once in a while I mean maybe every week or so minimum, not every hour or every single day. And don't get all depressed if I say I'm not done yet. People, I have a life outside of drawing you know, I have to do unusual things like, oh I don't know, eating, trying to keep a social life with the few friends I have, trying to find work, drawing my own art for my own amusement so that I can stay up to par with myself in order to continue good quality commissions....
UPDATE: Please PAY ATTENTION to my journals. Sometimes I will have a break/crisis/hiatus of some kind and I will always post about it if it happens. If I say I'm on hold for commissions, then don't ask about them. If your name is on my list, I WILL finish it, unless you break my rules or act like a total douchebag. I don't like using my blacklist, but I will if I have to. I will send a refund if the money was sent through paypal.
3.) I don't share my messengers like discord or skype with commissioners, I consider instant messengers my private space for friends and family, and it would only stress me out if someone had the ability to message me at any time in a more personal way when I don't know them very well. Plus my experience with allowing customers to talk to me on messenger hasn't been good, they're more likely to nag for updates and take a lot longer describing the things they want.
4.) I don't usually show work in progress sketches but am willing to make changes to the final product. Depending on how much work the changes are, there may or may not be a charge. If you want a WIP sketch, let me know ahead of time and I'll do my best to remember to show it to you for confirmation.
5.) No sob stories or guilt trips if I don't give you what you want exactly when you want. I'm a nice person, really, and if you want a friend to talk to that's fine. But I'm not happy about people going "My grandma died, I'm sad, draw me something free/speed up your commission/let me see what you have so far" If you're REALLY sad, you'd want to talk about it to someone, not harass other people to draw freebies for you. If you're a friend, and I know you aren't feeling well, and I know it will cheer you up, I might draw you a get well picture, but NOT if you bring it up and beg for it like it's the only thing in the world that would make you feel better.
6.) I do not start commissions until they are payed for. I might make an exception if I'm bored and want to do the commission, but I will not post it up nor will I give it to you without payment. I've been duped 80 dollars in the past for something like that, and I don't want it happening again. So if you havn't payed/done anything for a trade, I wont tolerate begging. If you want to commission me and can't pay at the moment, then please, by all means, tell me what you had in mind, and when you can, pay and tell me you did, then I'll be more than happy to draw for you.
If you feel uncomfortable about paying before receiving a sketch or commission, keep in mind that over 3 years I have done over 200 commissions and I have only once voided a commission. I am not a ditch and run artist.
7.) Understand that I might not meet a deadline that I originally set. Though I tend to keep to my word, lately I've been over stressing myself and I need to kick back and space out commissions more so I can enjoy a bit of my own drawings and my own life. If I take more than a month, please message me, because unless I'm swamped with commissions, I should never take that long. But don't message me with an angry note or something like that, just ask what's going on and I'll tell you. And then I'll work something out so that we can get the commission done in a reasonable time.
UPDATE: When I have comics, the wait time is much longer. I'm going to be opening comic commissions in slots so that a backlog like this wont happen again, but for now, the wait will be a while, and I'm really sorry about that.
8.) I am willing to draw ANYTHING commissioned, inflation, guro, incest, herms, you name it. Aside from scat and cub/loli/shota I'm comfortable with drawing any fetish. I might have trouble drawing something new and I'll tell you if I've drawn it before or not, but don't be shy. I don't reject a commission, I only reject the commissioner if they're being unreasonable. Please note I will also not draw politically charged imagery either.
9) I only take paypal and card. If you can't pay with paypal but you can by by card, let me know and I'll give you paying instructions.
10.) I cannot afford to give refunds, if you are not satisfied with a commission please let me know and I will try to fix what I can. Note that more difficult fixes will have a fee. This doesn't happen often but in the event that a commissioner forces a refund on paypal after the commission is complete, the commissioner thereby agrees to allow me to alter their commission in any way I see fit.
11.) I have the right at any time to reject or cancel a commission. If you're going to be a jackass about it, I wont do it for you. If you already payed, this does NOT mean I'm your 'art bitch' at your beck and call, DO NOT harass me about your commission or you wont get it. Just because YOU want your commission right away doesn't mean you'll get it, you're most likely in a line of other commissions and you need to wait your turn. If I cancel, I'll send the money back and that will be that.
12.) My work is NOT for cryptocurrency based transactions, be it NFTs or otherwise. I will not tolerate my art being used this way, even if you commissioned it.
Remember everyone, I'm a human/fur too. Just because you're paying me to draw for you doesn't mean I should be treated like a servant.
Thanks everyone, happy commissioning! ^^

Well, as before, when you get caught up, my bounty offer's still on the table. ;) Feel free to try different character designs as well, you do the concept well enough that I don't have to worry about specifying anything. Hehe.
and I'm not payin'. I just want it. On a silver platter. You have to draw the platter too. In real silver.
