Sin City Work Trip - About Crop/Colors - Any Questions?
This is a coyote... I'm making a note here HUGE SUCCESS.
Working Trip Coming Up!
My favorite type of trip - going to be in Sin City for a few days coming up real fast now. I don't know what i am doing when I am not working but hopfully something fun.
I'm hoping to borrow a lens or two from
mouring and attempt to take a picture or two there. Last time I failed! But this time I will try harder and maybe I will do well.
One thing I pride myself in is posting a variety of pictures of some of my favorite animals in various poses and styles. I try never to post from the same picture twice. I have done a few but did it for educational purposes only.
Because of posting a variety of pictures I know that I will not have the end all be all crop/angle/colors in each picture. I figure I can make 10% of the people happy with a picture I did good. So I vary the colors a little bit to hopfully hit other people's monitors preferences. I take at different angles shots to try to get a different emotion and feeling.
In the end it's a lot of fun to see what different looks and things. I might not make everyone happy, even myself, with every shot but I do hope it makes it a fun experience for people and inspire!
I just hope people are liking the photographs and as always feel free to post in my journal questions if you want answered :)
Thanks for watching and I hope I made people smile.

For Sin City, be sure to take a little f/1.8 50mm lens with you. If you have a f/2.8 24mm or 28mm, bring that along, too. With your RAW experience, you should be able to bring out the best in night time outdoor shots which will beg for all the dynamic range you can pull out of your Lightroom. All those megawatts of pretty colored lights deserve your tender care.
I actually have a f/1.4 50mm as my prime I loved the f/1.8 for canon AKA "Nifty Fifty" but I hated the focus ring.
I sold it to a friend and bought the F/1.4 later on. Better focus ring for me but not that big of jump otherwise. I still recommend the f/1.8 that Nikon and Canon make great bangs for buck!
But I wish I stayed a night on the strip I would probably go up WAY too late taking pictures then :) But alas I'm doing the local things.
I'm sorry that you won't be spending a night on the strip. I'd really love to see what you could do with all those spectacular lights.
