Blizzard prize package finally arrived! But...

General
I just received the prize package for the 2009 Holiday Card Contest held by Blizzard Entertainment, but the contents are incomplete when compared to the prizes showcased on the Contest page and official rules.
My package contained:
- 1 signed 2009 Blizzard Holiday Card (Christmas on the first of March? Madness!!!
- 1 Razer DeathAdder Gaming Mouse (finally I have an optical mouse with wired USB, instead of wireless!)
- 1 Razer Lycosa Keyboard (Time to retire my ages old Logitech Elite keyboard, but...)
- 1 Razer Sphex Mouse Pad (No longer need I cover the sloppy paintjob I gave to my desk with a large piece of cardboard!)
What's missing from the list would be the Razer Carcharias Headset, as listed in the official rules. http://eu.blizzard.com/fr-fr/commun.....ard/rules.html
I won't make a big deal out of this, since I have a fairly decent headset myself. However, it's still a headset with 80$ retail value, so... yeah, what about it?
I tried mailing the e-mail adress listed on the page, namely blizzardcontest[at]blizzard.com , but I fear it'll fall on deaf ears. :<
Also, I wrote a "but..." at the keyboard, though one should also suffice after the mouse. Two personal problems arise, namely:
- I've always been using my left hand as the mouse hand, yet the Razer mouse is designed specifically for right-handed use.
- The Belgian standard for keyboards is AZERTY, yet the keyboard I received is a QWERTY, since it's send from ... Idunno! *checks shipping note* ...France? That's not right, France also uses AZERTY. Yet, with Belgium and France being the exception, I guess distributing QWERTY would be more logical since there are more EU countries using QWERTY.
Still, I'm actually going to have to re-decorate my furniture to suit the new setup I'll have to adapt to. Ahhh, such is the price of "pro gaming gear" ;_;

FA+

well we use qwerty in Turkey, so why don cha send me the keyb? XD
Speak up and most times you're compensated since rules are rules
HURR.
well, i guess they didn't even ask by default, that's kinda rude. this package is one-of-a-kind, yes? if so, they could tailor it better.
and missing parts.... bah.
try calling blizz, they are usually pretty professional when you finally talk to them, e-mails do indeed usually fall on deaf ears. (or blind eyes...?)
if you won something that big, or scored that high or whatever, then at least they should give a damn about you.
row, row, fight the... uh.. just let them know that you'd like to be treated like the well-earned winner you are.
Also, according to Wiki, only France and Belgium use the azerty standard. They COULD'VE tailored it better, but I guess Razer, being the main sponsor and provider of the gear, just picked out the keyboards from their stock, since pretty much everyone else uses Qwerty.
Also, it took them 2 full months to ship the package. I've read stories on wow.com where people hadn't received a prize in half a year, or never at all. Blizzard isn't very punctual on their contest prizes, that's for sure. :<
I got nothing fancy though, I got MS SideWinder X8 which seems efficient! Though instead I use a laptop, and is more efficient than my PC, and the PC crashed so I'm using the other screen for that, besides I plug my consoles on the second screen too, no more need to get up and use the TV. 83 I'm so getting fat.
Heeey, you play WoW, but where? D:
I only use one screen, it's big enough so I'm not complaining XD
I play music such like dungeon, the field riding my horse. Wish I could change the sounds a bit more.
I should make a warrior and have him with a sword and a shield, and make him wear all but green clothing. >:|
I can tell as much when I join a non-EU server on TF2, for instance. ><
I've been playing a healer and I think I got the hang of it. I wanted to be a mage though. :C
OMINOUS!
My priest skills have been awesome. Just that tanks... are not nice. Seriously, my biggest complain in the game are people who are trying to be the best of their class and blame it all on the healer. Jeez. I apologize when I let someone died, and try to let them know I need mana, but sometimes they just rush. Last time I got a moving tank and he was picking the routes where there were objects that blocked my heals. I tried coming near them but then I got aggro on me and they slowed me down.
It is smart to stay a bit far away for avoiding getting stunned, sleep, silenced and other things. I'm a undead, can remove myself from sleep, but they continue to sleep me and my cooldown is like for 2-5 minutes, don't even know anymore. =\
And even if you announce it beforehand, they will still rush in, instead of seeing wether or not you have enough mana for a bossfight or so. -_-
Also, have you considered rolling an alt now, and leveling it up to say, 79.85%, wait until they unlock the new class/race combos for character change and then have yourself a fresh worgen with pretty much 2 levels of rested experience.
Also, have 25 quests done on your main before the xpac launches, then turn them all in on the day and get yourself half a level boost on everyone else. I did that for BC :)
It's not nearly as important as it is with FPS.
What would be the fun in that? I want to play through their starting zone and the reshaped Azeroth as intended, while properly learning the Rogue mechanics and talent trees as they'll be in Cataclysm D:
Still, the 25quest thing for cataclysm is a really handy ting to do. :D
I doubt that they do a large about of out-of-country shipping or even if the did.. that'd they'd have a model to fit your keyboarding format. =/
Good news is.. Razer makes their products preform past a reasonable level of response.. so it'll never feel sluggish or like it skips your massive key-press commands.
What's funny is that they didn't give you one of Razer's many ambidextrous gaming mouses. The one I own can comfortably be used with either hand. Took some time getting used to.. but its very comfortable. =D
