I'm sure you're all going "What the HELL is a Fuzzit?!" Long story short: They're a Janus.
Fuzzits, as they're colloquially known, are a race that greatly resemble ferrets - Gender A can usually pass as one. Their biology is rather different from a ferret - and Gender B are different enough it's thought they may in fact be genetically compatible but different species. Fuzzits are powerful empaths who create units that act as a family via their empathetic connections. They has at least one tentacle growing from their head, this tentacle contains whisker-like structures that seem to be used for this purpose. Any Fuzzit will panic if this tentacle is threatened - death is preferable to having it cut. If the tentacle is severed they become docile for a few days before slipping into a coma and dying if it's not reattached. In cases it is reattached they becomes sociopathic. Fuzzits have two genders and seven sexes, a system that tends to confuse the living crap out of most other species.
Fuzzit Genders
The gender of a fuzzit is determined by whether they give birth or lay eggs.
Gender A - Lays eggs. Roughly corresponds to male, though FAF and FAE often identify as female. They have a larger height range and are generally more muscular. They have a single tentacle growing on one side of the top of their head, often the left, with needle-like, back pointing teeth. Gender A is considered fully grown when the tentacle is shoulder length.
Gender B - Gives birth to live young. Roughly corresponds to female, though EBF do occasionally identify as male. They have larger brains and a higher body fat percentage. Gender B has four eyes, two placed normally and a second set that is roughly 1/3 to 1/2 the size of the main eyes above them. The secondary eyes are independent of the main eyes. Has two tentacles, one on either side of the top of the head, with no teeth. Gender B is considered fully grown when the tentacles grow past the shoulders.
Fuzzit Sexes
The sex of a Fuzzit is determined by which chromosomes they have. F stands for Female, E for Male. Any Fuzzit can get any other Fuzzit pregnant - yes, literally. An FAF can get a EAE pregnant. Rare examples of taller or shorter Fuzzits are known, the guides here are general. Examples of Fuzzits with different coloration are also quite rare, but do occasionally occur. The pattern is usually three shades of the base color and a single shade of the hair and accent color.
FAF - Female, Egg, Female. Height is usually between 6'0 and 6'6. Colors tend towards gold or pink base with purple or blue hair. Often aggressive.
FAE - Female, Egg, Male. Height is usually between 4'0 and 5'0. Colors tend towards gold or brown base with teal or blue hair. Semi-aggressive.
EAF - Male, Egg, Female. Height is usually between 5'0 and 6'0. Colors tend towards gold or orange base with green or blue hair. Sometimes aggressive.
EAE - Male, Egg, Male. Height is usually between 6'6 and 7'0. Colors tend towards gold or red base with purple or green hair. Often aggressive.
FBF - Female, Live, Female. Height is usually between 4'0 and 4'6. Colors tend towards blue or purple base with gold or pink. Rarely aggressive.

Note: The mommies [of janus and family] are FBF and FAE so any F-first combo is possible :B
You just never said anywhere which sex gene determined which traits. I'm still kinda confused lol. For example, what would an FAE be?
A stands for Egg-layer, which is what they would consider MALE. They have only one pair of eyes and one tentacle-mouth.
B stands for Live-birth, which is what they would consider FEMALE. They have a secondary pair of eyes and a second tentacle-mouth.
E stands for MALE, as we understand it. They have a penis.
FAE would be an individual with breasts, a vagina, a penis, one pair of eyes, one tentacle mouth, and an egg-layer.
EBF would be an individual with breasts, a vagina, a penis, two pairs of eyes, two tentacle mouths, and would give birth to live young.
I understand it all now, but it is kinda strange how that works out. Ever think of listing the two F/E genes together to avoid confusion on how that works? instead of FAE, FEA or something like that. idk that's just how my mind works.
