Mature/Adult readers only! (This is a horror story and contains mature elements, after all).
I'm looking to fill 20 character spots, so feel free to submit one yourself! Just follow the guidelines on the character creation page.
This is the sixth and final character created by me (the author) that will be in one of six groups within the Zombie Apoc-Fur-Lypse game. Introducing, character 6 for group 6:
Elizabeth (Lizzy) McDaniels
Lizzy is a rabbit.
As a child, Lizzy does not have an occupation, as such. Her mother died when she was young, and her father worked as a technician at the city power station. Assuming any schools were left, Lizzy would probably be classified as an elementary school student.
Being so young, Lizzy does not really have much in the way of successes to go by. Were she not so quiet and withdrawn due to the events around her, she would probably proudly proclaim that she could say her ABCs.
Something happened recently, and Lizzy is not about to talk about it. It was something bad... real bad. It probably has something to do with her dad and the zombies everywhere. After all... hasn't everyone seen something "real bad" in the prior 30 hours? Whatever it was, it will most likely haunt poor Lizzy for the rest of her life.
Lizzy is a little girl. Due to this temporary condition (it will last another half dozen years, at least), she is, for the moment, a non-sexual individual. In addition to this factor, the mental and emotional trauma that has obviously been experienced by this poor little child suggests that she will not be open to physical intimacy for quite some time. To that end, Lizzy is classified as neither hetero nor homo sexual.
The little rabbit girl has walked through life with wide eyes and a great love of learning and understanding. Until recently, Lizzy wanted to know about everything that ever was or was going to be. She wanted to experience everything in the world and couldn't wait to begin. Most recently, however, one of those experiences changed her view on life.
Right now, Lizzie is still in a daze. She alternates between complete silence and whimpering, tears, and screaming. Being so young, Lizzie probably doesn't completely understand the concept of death, but she can still be very VERY afraid. Though she is not much of a philosopher, the only reason she needs to keep going is so she doesn't "get made into those people".
If poor Lizzy were to meet a grizzly end at the slobbering jaws of the zombies, it will either be due to a horribly twisted and desperate act by one of the other survivors, or as a sudden and heart-wrenching event that becomes evermore etched in the minds of those who read it. You have been warned.
Despite the horrible events occuring around town, Lizzy has somehow managed to survive unscathed. Whether she was well protected by her father (who is now most likely dead), or has been exceedingly lucky... well... maybe that's just one more thing the other survivors will never learn about this poor little girl who is quite apparently suffering from some very serious trauma.
While the young rabbit still has the tell-tale signs of childhood about her, the look in her eyes points out that recent events have taken away the innocence and care-free world of a little kid. She moves almost as if by automation, doing as she's told by adults and following directions as if it's the only thing keeping her going. Her big brown eyes are often filled with tears, or else glazed over as if she's looking at a still-frame from a horrible event etched in her mind.
Her petite whiskers stick out from her bubble-gum pink nose. Her little paws are stained with dirt, as is her pink-lace dress, and the scent of ozone and burned metal is prominent on her clothes and in her fur. Her vacant expression and unearthly silence are punctuated occasionally by a scream, usually accompanied by her going into a fetal position and covering her ears, head, and face. At other times, she seems almost coherant, able to answer questions about herself, though she is apparently quite unclear about most recent events, most likely having blocked them out.

Lizzy is probably somewhere between being a 1st and 2nd grader. She is still very much young. This conceivably gives her a step-up on the survivability meter because, after all... kids usually survive a zombie horde better than the adults. That's believable, right? And, if all else fails, it also means that nobody suspects her. *cackling laugh*

We shall see. Maybe you should submit a character that might be protective of children so s/he could keep that from happening!
I'm still working on dividing up which of the 6 characters presented here will go to which site... and then I fill the groups according to horror-movie genre archtypes.
