I gotta say snakes for that. Dinosaurs would be top tier, but I feel odd to referring them as just animals for some reason...even though, well, they are. Lol
Needs more exposure? Not sure really. I don't keep up with what's big on the animal scene, lol...probably something exotic, but then, I'm not sure if said animal would want the exposure.
Most recognizable...canids and felines I think. That or equines. But, considering all I see a lot are the former-well...

Red pandas--they've had a few false surges in the fandom, but then slink back to being a niche species.
