OH MY GOODNESS!!! I love these conventions.

Group for FWA:  boneitis,  juliejubz,  ianjay,  mynameismad, and  kiriska. Our friends David decided not to come last minute...shame on you. :dead:

While FWA was not as successful for me as far as sales, everything else far exceeded my expectations! The hotel was wonderful (I hope they have the same one next year!..though the elevators creeped me out because they were so fast and had glass walls.), I got to see some con buddies from AC  caustickeet, met new buddies  celestialdivine and  marisama, hung out with Al who I hadn't seen since fall quarter, went to the rave dances for the first time and got hooked, and saw a friend from my art history class last quarter who I didn't even know went to these cons! She goes by  beerhorse.

I'm so excited for Al because she came to the con without knowing what to really expect, but she totally adapted by the second day of the con!

Also Mad and I had a bear crawling race with a couple of other people! Mad is ridiculously fast like that...it's insane.

The other best part of the con was watching the non attending hotel guests react to the fursuiters and people with tails! Most of them were just confused and scared, but a few got up the courage to just ask questions and stop being freaked out over nothing.

The highlight of the weekend though, was most definitely the fur suit dance off....they have surprising range of motion in those things...I never knew. One was even doing back flips and the worm. Second and first place were great dancers and the mongoose in second had to maneuver with a super long tail dragging the floor...go figure how they do this. lol but I just have to say that if we put Mad in a fursuit...she could probably do pretty well after getting used to the big feet and such.

OH! And I sold a whole bunch of one of my prints!!! I hardly ever sell prints! I feel like I'm really learning what resonates with people. The decorative stuff is fun, but they went nuts over the prints of  quickxyk's commission, which he was so kind to let me sell. Thanks man!

Now sleep! Wow...that's the least sleep I've had in a while. 2 hours friday, 3 on saturday, and something like 3 on the drive back to savannah. BUT SO WORTH IT!!!..and OHGODHOMEWORK!
