Would anyone be interested in a body pillow cover of..edit#2

Here is a link to where I "created" a cropped image for a site that seems to turn images into body pillow covers. It seems that the price is fixed for $69 which may seem steep (I wouldn't know), but I thought it was interesting and curious to your thoughts.....
It also seems that you get $5 per pillow cover ordered. May not be much, but still, you know?
I am more curious if this is something others would want, and if so, maybe I can see if other images might be good for this I have as well.

I also wonder if others would find the idea of their images being converted to Body Pillows to be neat and something they could want.
Granted, technically they are not too keen on nudity but seems it can be allowed to a degree.....
Also, I sent a message to some other artists whose art I think could make good body pillow covers, and basically this could also be something for turning your art into Body Pillow Covers. It is unfortunate you can't name your own price, and have to go through another party, but still. It could be something extra to consider. Things like Journals updating people as to what art to pillow covers you have made to show others who may have extra money or something. Especially due to some of you artists who are extremely well known and good can charge a lot more for a commision, but maybe allow the user to say, "enjoy" an image you have in a special manner or something.....
To those of you who I have sent a link to this journal to, I thought it could be an idea that if you do not mind the idea, that you could yourself create an account there, choose what art/character you would feel comfortable with being turned into such a pillow and of course, if some sold, you could earn a tad bit of money as well.
I suppose that to some of you who are artists, the aspect of knowing that others would be interested in sexual aspects of a character in some physical aspect where the artist would KNOW that others are enjoying their character in more "intimate" ways even if in pillow form may not be for them. I suppose at least with art of a sexual nature, they may not wish to know on a fully conscious level that others might have thoughts of "enjoying" the artists character in a bit more intimate manner. Granted, at least with an artistic digital image manner, the artist may not have to be reminded or have to think about the idea that we all know is true for the most part that someone or numerous people have probably masturbate/fapped/insert other word for that action here, to their character
Of course. there I suppose are some people who know that others enj this and could use this idea as something to allow the fans to have so in a sense, have somewhat of a physical peice of a character that they enjoy. And that they would not have any problems knowing that others intimatly enjoy their character and not be bothered by it at all.
I am curious as to how many have the idea of being okay with the aspect of others masturbating/fapping/insert other word for that action here, to their characters and maybe wish to give their fans something somewwhat more physical, and knowing that people would pay to have a psuedo physical aspect of a character they enjoy and can enjoy it however they wish perhaps in their own and hopefully private way.
Sorry if I am rambling, I think my mind just went into its "Overthinking" mode due to thinking about both potential sides and ways one whose character to be put in this situation may think.
If some of you like the idea but are uncertain, maybe make a journal something along the lines of this:
SUBJECT: If I could make Full Body Pillow Cases of Art, would you buy?
BODY: I came across an idea and site due to someone on FA (No credit needed unless you feel like it) about a site that allows art to be made into full Body Pillow Cases. I was curious if others would pay for such an item. What if I offered to make pillow casses out of certain art images in my gallery (you the artist) would you be willing to pay XXX amount for the cases?
XXX = name your price pretty much. Enough to cover the $69 fee from the site above, or perhaps whatever from an alt site where it could be slightly cheaper. That way, you could adjust the price a tad higher due to what you feel is acceptable, and make some money, and still order it.
Just a thought to those who think they could consider this idea.

Ran across this journal in passing. I personally wouldn't want one. Being that I work with the anime community more then furry i can almost guarantee due to the price, even there it'd fail. Even then they'd be more into the innocent things. If you tried this on a larger scale I'd suggest getting blank pillow cases and get some of the special paper that you can print the images on and iron them onto the cases. Can get your creation costs down to about 5$ doing it that way and most people aren't going to care if its silk screened on.

Unless there was a way you could say or charge X amount, they pay you, you pay the place, and have it sent to the person's address, you know? I'm surprised, but I think anime fans are more into this than furry artists...I tried selling my own already but only one person bought one.
I had heard about a lot of it being in anime and I thought, I wonder if others in the furry fandom had the idea to do this for their art and say, try selling it at cons or something.
To me, there is a LOT of art that I thonk could make for awesome pictures, if only the idea is spread out more and made more known about, so that other artists can see if it would be for them. I guess in a sense, I am more spreading the word that I think their art could make for good body pillows and see what their thoughts are on it with their characters.
Now, if there were a way where it could be cheap enough for the manufacturer so that both could get an equal amount, that would be nice. After all, the artist put a lot of effort in creation of an image, so should get a decent amount of the money spent on the creation even if in another format. Imay be overthinking due to tiredness. >.< I tend tio think a LOT when tired. ^_^;
But, maybe the idea simply needs more exposure in the furry fandom with other furry artists taking a lead of making them in a sense, so that the idea spreads. Then perhaps eventually, it can be as big as the anime style ones.
Perhaps, what one could do, is have a booth where the artists have art pictures that could make good ones, and take orders of what images for the pillow covers. They can charge X amount, get the persons name and info. The amount would be an amount they could add so they gain some money, say for example, adding $20 to the above price (say yours), that way they could earn some money, and get the pillow thing done as well. Maybe have a few made out already say, based on images in a artists gallery that has the most faves.
If you do and submit it, I could try plugging it into my account (unless you wish to make an account and try yourself) and see how it could possibly look.
That Purgy image would be nice as well. Though you'd have to as MatthewBrandon if using the art you did of his character in such a way could be allowed.
And your Yuri the demoness succubuss could be a great one as well. ^_^ Especially the left side front view clothed version as I think that could be sexier then full blown nudity.

After all, I would not really be doing anything except resizing the image you provide to be a type of Template for the Pillow. I mainly made this journal more so that it could give them ideas of alternate "services" they could provide. Like say You are one that does art for someone. You could say that if they want a Full Body Hug Pillow Cover, they would need to add X amount of $$$ to pay for the cost.
Why have me as a "Middleman" so to speak. I am horrible with Paypal as I almost never use it, so I think it would be a wise choice for you, to simply create an account, upload the image(s) you want as Pillow covers, and when you get enough cash, simply order it for yourself.
So for me, I am unsure what you are saying as to me of asking what it is I can do, you know? There would not be much of anything done on my end except what I have stated earlier in this particular reply.

I mean, I suppose you could ask the artists if you wanted to use art they did for you in a Manner such as this as well I suppose. I was curious to your thoughts if say, you would think the idea interesting to have some of the art in your gallery, say of your characters made in a manner such as a body pillow cover.

Remember though at the site I found, the Base Price for the Case only is $69. You do get a measly $5 from each Sale though. That is why I suggested naming a price somwhat higher then the cost so it allows the one who created the art peice of their characters, to at least make a bit of money.
I do see how it could be a tad more complicated due to when one helps out on an artpeice or when more then one person is involved.....

I don't think it is much of a furry thing though, I was going to buy a few to bring them to anthrocon but who knows if they will sell. They are definitely more of an anime lovers interest then furries I think. It's kind of odd seeing how this odd fandom things pillows with characters printed on them are weird xD;
I guess if you made them each custom people would want them more but then you would need to add in commission price for drawing it and stuff so it can be pretty high, probably $150 or more depending on the artist and art style, etc.
But personally I love them. I am however an anime fan first, furry fan second.
I just thought it could be a possibility to consider to those who are artists and perhaps thinking of alternative aspects of doing something with their art then say a commisioner simply getting an image. Like an alternative aspect.
Granted, the main idea is for art they have already done in the past of their own characters that others enjoy. I do suppose however if one wanted it as both a picture AND pillow case, then it would cost a lot more. I am kinda just curious about the potential if others would buy something along these lines, like, have others thought of instead of anime characters, to do furry ones, you know? I think depending on the Artist, that it could be a good thing if they think the idea to be nice.

I guess I saw this and was unsure if others thought about an aspect of furry body pillows. To me, sometimes I see an idea, try to throw it out to others to get their opinions. I thank you for yours. I actually added it to the journal as it makes a good point and whatnot.
I don't think I would mind. After all, people who draw and share porn can probably expect it being fapped to... Why should a physical touch be that unsettling?
But in this case - it would have to be "clean"? That'd be an awkward midway between a sexual kink and "an object you wouldn't mind others seeing". Still sounds fun, but I have problems comprehending its intended fuction.
Granted, there is always the option of removing the cover beforehand if you know they are coming over. Or have it always covered by a dark colored cover going the opposite way so when you pull the top "Camoflaouging" cover off, the other one can stay.
I mean, I am simply thinking that also, these pillows could be an alternative to say, plushies. Both are inanimate objects, if people "mess around with" plushies, why would a pillow be any different as long as it contains something they would find sexy?

Seems a bit expensive for not too much profit. I'd rather someone commission me for the $60, rather than pay the same amount and I only get $5 or something.
