The challenge: To draw a 'coupley' picture between one of my husband's OCs and mine. The possible pairings are listed below in the references section.
The prize: $100 to the artist of the winning piece, may be increased and 2nd/3rd places may be added depending on response.
There is also a prize for referrals! Whoever publicises this contest and has the most people join as a result wins a full colour image from me. In order to count, a piece MUST be submitted (simple declarations of interest are not enough) and give the referrer's name with their submission.
The deadline: August 20th, the date of our 1st anniversary.
The rules:
- Visual art only. IE drawings. This is not a writing contest.
- Art submitted must be your own creation, and be created solely for this contest.
- You may upload this art to any gallery you wish, and please link to this journal in the description.
- There will be no voting for the winner,
captainjv and I will choose them ourselves. If the response is overwhelming we may have a public vote to decide a shortlist of the finalists but that’s an IF.
- The pieces can be sketched, inked or coloured. There's no required state of 'completion' for your entry but bear in mind not making it as good as you can may hurt your chances of winning.
- Anyone may enter. No bias will be shown and nobody is barred.
- 'Risque' art is permitted. No preference will be shown to art based on whether it is 'pornographic' or not.
- If you are concerned about getting elements of the characters' designs correct I am willing to look at WIPs and let you know if anything should be changed. This is completely optional though!
- You may enter as many pieces as you like.
- To submit, upload the entry to your gallery and NOTE me the link. I will comment to let you know I've seen it and add you to the list of entrants. If this does not happen within a day of submitting note me again in case I didn't get it.

The couples
1: Captain JD Vengeance and Shuki ‘Kusatsu’ Vengeance.
They can be depicted as either anthro or human. Whichever you choose, they both must be the same. Human x human or anthro x anthro. No human x anthro.

Captain JV anthro (Pending, but much like his human form just a white wolf)
Other info: They are married, and wear platinum wedding bands. Also they are both Caucasian European despite her name. Attire-wise she (Kusatsu) favours the colours black, purple, silver and red. For clothing ideas (that either her human or version will wear) check here or here Do be aware though that the older references of her anthro form, with the white and blue head spikes, are out of date and she no longer has them.
JDV is a pirate and thus a certain amount of artistic liberty can be taken with his clothing as long as they fit the theme. Just nothing like giving him a hook hand or peg leg lol.
If you draw him without his eyepatch, his left eye is red.
Regarding their anthro forms, his is a white wolf and hers is a Manx cat, hence why she has no tail.
2: Darth Infernus and Atra Valeo.
These are two human Sith Lord OCs.
