Hello there everyone! Thank you for expressing interest in doing this contest! :) Anyways, hypnosis stories are a bit o' a rarity so I figured I'd start a contest to promote writing more of 'em.

Divisions
Now, the contest itself, for the time at least, will be separated into two divisions: Clean and Adult. (Adult simply meaning sexual content)

The clean division will be for those who's area of expertise tends to not focus around stories with sexual content and would rather work on a story that does not involve such. The adult division would be for those who do not mind putting sexual content into the story. :)

Awards
The winner of the adult story division will receive a paid two-character fully coloured pic with background from the artist, twinkle-sez

The winner of the clean story division will receive a paid two-character fully coloured pic with a simple background from the artist, DoDeDo ( doe She still uses the account to be able to get adult references but otherwise it's a dead account.) (She's drawn the character sketches for me of various species, horse, eastern dragon, female serpents, etc.)
Note:
DoDeDo will not draw:
-Fanart
-Certain fetishes - Watersports/Scat, Plushies, Taurs, Herms, Animal genitals (sacks/sheathes), underage (under 18), vore, oversized or multiple genitals, huge bodily weights (she's more of a slim artist with her style), muscles, or excessive fluids.

Runner up prizes in either category may be added. As well, there is a chance that the divisions will be merged depending on interest. If such happens, again I'll post a new journal to signify such.

As well, regardless of what category you enter, you may choose to make either pic an adult or clean one.

Guidelines

-Hypnotism is a required main subject and must be used within story.

-The subject or one of the subjects must be a dragon/scaly/dinosaur/avian/gargoyle (since they sorta count as draconic) of any gender. (In other words, at least one of those species should be getting hypnotized. There is no set gender so feel free to write about a female dragon,, male dragon, male dinosaur, herm avian/gryphon, etc.)

-. A maximum limit will not be imposed. The minimal word count is about 2500-3000 words. It's highly advised you go above and beyond this so as to give you ample room to develop the characters, story, and give detailed description of the induction process.

-There is no set sexual orientation or genders for any characters (as mentioned above). So you are free to write a gay, lesbian, bisexual, hetero story. You will not be penalized or rewarded (given extra credit) for choosing any orientation over the other in either category.

-In the clean division, there can still be sexual orientation, just more sexual things such as anal, vaginal, oral sex and others aren't allowed. So you could still have someone being affectionate to another person, non-sexual nudity, etc.

-Please post your stories on your page and link to them in either a journal for the contest or via notes and I will upload them to the contest page. If you wish to refrain from posting such till the deadline that is alright, but still be sure to send me notification or a copy beforehand so as to not get disqualified for missing the deadline.

-Stories created before the day this journal was implemented do not count.

-You may write in any style you wish, be it first person, third person, etc.


-Again, if you win, any rules the artists already have in place about commissions still apply. So if you want a herm pic from DoDeDo she will not draw such but Twinkle-sez would.


Fetishes
-A list of fetishes that are not allowed in the story:
-Gore (A bit of bleeding/biting is alright, but when you start gettin' into wounds, lacerations, etc, that's where the line is drawn.)
-Death/Undeath
-Watersports (Urination/Defectation, etc.)
-Vore)
-Macro/Micro (Size difference is okay, such as the difference in size of an adult feral dragon compared to a 1.8 meter person, but nothing like godzilla crushing buidlings stuff.)
-Hyper
-More may be added.



-Fetishes that have been approved (May have more added later, but this is so you folks can have some additional questions answered):
-Footpaw
-Latex
-Bondage
-Crossdressing
-Tickling
-Muscle
-Incest
-Transformation (Even with transformation, a scaly/dragon/dinosaur/avian is still required. Of course, you can have that criteria taken care of by having the transformation to a species under those categories.)
-Tentacles
-Coiling
-Voyeurism
-Mental Regression (That's sorta where you make the person think they are younger than they already are. Someone asked me about this and it's an alright one.)
(These are the ones asked so far. If you are curious if a certain fetish you want to apply is alright just ask!)

Deadline
The deadline for the contest will be August 6th, with judging taking place for the next week or two following this. Any entries after August 6th ends will be disregarded.

Judging
Judges will be officially announced a bit later, though more than one judge will be employed to take into account a difference in sexual orientation in the adult division. Stories will be judged by the use of hypnosis, grammar, pacing, story development, use of description, and a few others.


Additional Information

-You are free to use one of your characters in your story but be aware I may not know anything about your character. It would be wise to expand on them a bit and not presume I'll go through all of your references to understand your character. (Takes a lot of time if there will be a lot of submissions! :/)

-Fanfiction is allowed if you feel more secure in that area, but one of the characters getting hypnotized still must fall under the set criteria of being a dragon, scaly of some sort, dinosaur, or avian (For example, Brooklyn from Gargoyles would fit the category... but a Gatoman from Digimon would not.) Be sure to check that at least one of the characters you are wanting to use that will be hypnotized falls under the set species categories! :)

-Generally I'd discourage using any of my characters for the stories, since this isn't a contest to see more of my guys, it's to see more hypnosis stories. Plus it tends to feel weird to me to see my characters used in stories I didn't write. :S

-You are free to use whatever method of hypnosis or mind control that you wish for the contest, be it classical, ocular, magical, drug-induced, brainwashing, or any others that you might create yourself.

-Generally try to write a story as long as you wish, if you feel you can expand more on the story, characters, hypnotic induction, or certain scenes more and that it'd improve the story altogether, then do so. There is no set limit on a story.

-You are free to attempt both categories, but I have some advice and rules for those that attempt this.
1. You may only submit two stories for this contest (Could be 2 adult, 2 clean, or 1 adult and 1 clean.) This may be changed if people react unfavourably to this.
2. If you actually win both contests, then you will have to choose which prize you'd prefer, with the other one going to the runner up winner. (So if you chose the Twinkle-sez pic from the adult category, the DoDeDo pic would go to the runner up in the clean category.) If a second place prize is added to both divisions, you could only win once in the division. (If you wrote two in the same division it would be if you got two ace ideas and wanted to try both of them out.)
3. These may be changed, but I will give notice beforehand.

-Remember, one of the requirements is that one of the characters getting hypnotized has to be a dragon, dinosaur, scaly, or avian. I know I've said it several times but want to make sure that people know it's for one to be hypnotized... not just a character in the story!
