**URGENT** My family needs help. **URGENT*

You're fighting the weight of the world, but no one can save you this time
**EDIT** my god, the response so far is overwhelming! I never could have dreamed for so much support, from friends and strangers alike! I simply cannot thank you guys'n gals enough!!! ;~;
**EDIT 2** The support continues! and I have been hard at work on several commissions received to help the cause! I have been keeping my family up to date on funds received, and have been trying to convince my mother to also open up for donations at the shop itself! I have also updated the situation below, as it turns on my dad HAS tried for the lower paying job, but was rejected anyways! now that my family is actually speaking to eachother, I am finding out more and more each day.
We currently have enough from my donations alone for a down payment on another house. we just need help finding one.
But, if we were to stay here, we would have to pay 2 month's worth (at 3000 a month, we'd have to pay 6000 by the end of this month! that's fuggin intense, and it isn't looking like we're gonna be able to make it if the only funds used are from the FA donations. But I am certainly up to the challenge!! I will not give up, and I urge my family not to as well. BRING IT ON!)
As of this writing, you guys have donated $1500(!!!!!!!!) for my family and rising! (this isn't including the amount of commissionwork I have lined up, either!) The response has been extraordinary, and my family fucking loves you guys. I originally thought that besides commissionwork, i'd be able to raise maybe like $200 at best! my mind is massively blown.
thank you guys infinitely, and thank you guys forever.

My family has suffered from an ever growing period of miscommunication over the years, and the reality of how little we know about eachother has been disturbing me more and more each day. For the few of you following my twitter and/or speak to me, you would vaguely know my current situation.
We are losing the house at the end of this month, and have still been unable to find a new house to move into. I didn't know we were even in danger until a few weeks ago, and it wasn't definite (the only person worrying/saying anything about it was my mom) until 3 days ago. A friend of mine is offering me housing, but I do not know what will happen to the rest of my family.
The only person supporting my family right now is my mom. She has owned'n managed HaiRave beauty salon (of Silver Spring, Maryland) for over 20 years, and has been our only source of income for a long while now. This made it even more alarming when she told me this morning that she's thinking of closing down the shop. Without the shop we will officially be without an income, and be 100% completely homeless and penniless. There's so much of a gap between the time this problem began, and the time she decided to let us know. I'm guessing my relentless independance came from her, as she swore she could eventually bring things under control, regardless of how deep things got..and when everything's too far gone, this comes up seemingly out of nowhere. She's been trying to get a 5k loan to save the business, and this is on top of the months of unpaid rent... I dunno if there are any places that can help us, but if y'know anything please help.
My father has worked as a network admin for several places, and had been laid off quite some time ago, and has been having trouble getting another job because of his age. Younger people with less qualifications have been getting his job over and over and over again, and he has become a cold and generally unlikable person over time. He knows he is capable of helping to support the family, but he's not being allowed the chance. This frustrates everyone in the household.
My sister and I have still been unable to get work, and are still attending college to hopefully get the papers required to get good jobs in the first place. If this situation continues as is, we will be unable to continue our education, and everything will be left frozen for an unknown amount of time. We have few options at this point and everything ahead is a huge mystery.
**update** My sister's been called for an interview at a telemarketing place! (haha, and how fitting! she is such a chatterbox.)
We need help...be it advice, or financial help..we need help.
I do not know why I'd be deserving, but if you have any spare change..advice...know of any houses up for rent in Silver Spring, Maryland...

Have you considered opening commissions to help with this?
i offer commissions of many kinds and price ranges, but at their current price that is barely enough to keep my internet and pizza orders going :\
i've tried diong donations for doodles as well, and i am always open for those.. i think i've only ever gotten one, though.. what else is there to open? anything at all that can help? any ideas would be awesome!

But honestly. HIT ME UP. I go against the grain. I can throw a little your way, even though it probably won't come back to me i don't care. Your situation sounds like it really sucks and we haven't been close enough friends for me to find out about this, in a long time.

And if your family if religious at all, MANY churches offer assistance as well, even if you aren't a member of said church. Do a search through google or your local craigstlist, too, see if you can find a couple food banks too.
Depending on how your parents are handleing it, if they are communicating with the bank they may qualify to have back money forgiven and adjustments made. Some peopel have ven had the homes given to them, written off.
Foreclosure does nto mean move that day, either. It is a long process that can take a few years with how busy the courts are. Some lawyers are even offering cheap services to file injunctions that take months to clear before people canbe thrown out of their house.
I had to learn a lot myself when I became unemployed and had to call my bank and tell them I wanted to work it out. In the end I got a job and lower payment but for some it's not as lucky.
I hope this advice helps some. I don't know your situation so I apologise if it's kind of generic. Again, though, Google foreclosure assistance and check out all the places you can work with. I'm sure you can even find ratings and advisments on who is and is not really qualified to help.
The banks were given money to avoid taking people's homes so it may be as easy as discussing it with them.

Suggestions can be made: things to sacrifice, things to aim for, opportunities to take. In these tough times, families can't afford to be distant from each other and assumptions can't be made. Even if it has to be sorta forced. =\

But you must act asap to setup meeting. Be sure to have someone explain
Pros and cons to each plan. There's many assistance programs to help.
But time is crucial. Banks hate taking homes, also you cannot be instantly kicked out of home.
Depending on which state , you're allowed 30-60 days. (Depends on rent vs sel owned)

I can only suggest going to your mortgage bank or broker and stretching the current amortization on the existing mortgage. That should be the first step.
Your mom should be able to have a choice to add an extra 5K maybe she is really needing 10k by the sounds of things.
Yes dad needs to look outside the box, at this point do what ever it takes to make things work and keep that shop open. Dad could help with the shop by the sound of things. Paperwork etc. Mom now needs to be more proactive with what ever else she can do with out concentrating on paper work, taxes, month end.
Maybe add a few thousand more onto the mortgage to start advertising sales at the local shop. Big sales for pre-existing customers.
And great sales for new clients. TV adds are cheep cheep cheep right now, same goes for radio and news paper adds. There all willing to negotiate on the prices. Very effective.
Sounds like you and your sister are doing what ever it takes to help out.
Keep in mind as a family were all there to help the one roof in situations like these. Put all your monies to your mortgage and bills.
