Just went to an anime con this weekend. Figured I would go just to have fun and to also practice suiting since I need to refreshen myself before Anthrocon. As I went there, the con wasn't much. A few good things at the Vendor's. Bought The Slayers OVA. And went to a panel called: The Mythology of Transformers. Which is about how Transformers were created and their whole storyline. It was really fun and learned a lot. Overall, the con was ok. I did had fun suiting. A lot of good reactions.
Going to Anthrocon Suitless
Here's what happened. Last night, after I went home from work. I opened the trunk to get some stuff out and went inside. The morning came and my roommate Osee went up to me and told me about the trunk of my car still opened. I was like, crap and went out to check if everything's ok. As I checked my trunk. Everything was stolen. My tool bag, my backpack that has my colonial attire that I wear to work, my habersack that contains a few books, and my duffle bag that contained my fursuit. Yep, that's right.
My fursuit was stolen!!! O.O >.< I cannot believe it. I thought I did closed the trunk of my car last night. But, apparantly it wasn't closed enough. A bunch of punks went through my trunk and stole everything with the exception of a few stuff. I just can't explain on how upset I really feel right now. I feel so stupid on leaving my trunk open and now my suit is gone.
I'll still go to Anthrocon regardless, though. I'll still have fun. Just won't be suiting at all this year. Really sucks though. I was looking forward to suit around, hang out with others, be in the parade, participate in the games, and be in the masquerede especially. I was going to be part of a skit at the masquerede this year with Zorin this year. We're doing a little pro-wrestling thing on it. I was going to be a furry version of Hulk Hogan (Hulk "Fur{ Hogan) and Zorin was going to be the furry version of The Rock (The Fox). Oh well.
So yeah, I won't be suiting this year at AC. Propably for a long time until I can save enough for another one which will be a long time. Oh well.
I'll still see you guys at AC. Just don't look out for me in suit since...well..heh...I won't have one. :P Just look out for the guy in a white ball cap with the words Walt Disney World in red letters. ;)
Though, what surprised me the most is that they didn't took my wrestling belt. *shrugs*

I'm so sorry to hear that this happened, suits are just too much money to be just stolen like that

I'll never get to see your amazing suit! Before I decided to start going to conventions and fursuit, I looked at lots of pics and you tube vids. Your suit always stood out in the crowd.
Even without the suit, I'll still want to meet thee John Stripedfur at AC this year!
