                            This is my head.

Well, I got some good news. Everything turned around 180° again. For those who don't know the details, I suggest reading http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/144259/ first. But to summarize, I basically helped a co-worker out and trusted him to do the right thing. I helped get him a car and later bailed him out of jail. He betrayed me instead. I should have seen the signs but I was too trusting (and he was a damn good lier too). I eventually found out he was lying to other people too. But this was after he got fired and stop returning my calls a few days after. Then I heard he was planning to leave out of state... with my car. It turned out he didn't paid off his bond (he said he did) and didn't talked to the bailsmen for over a month. He also had an unrelated warrant and when he finally called (to get even more money from me), I called the cops on the previous warrant and he was arrested.
I thought that was that but he somehow got bail again before the judge signed off on the new warrant (the big one). When it finally got sign a couple of days later, I was afraid that he already fled out of state. But I got news this Monday that he got arrested again. This time it's on a much bigger warrant. Even on the off chance he gets out again on a new bail, I'm off the hook for co-signing the last one. So that's a big relief since I was financially responsible for the full bond (never ever co-sign for anything. I learned my lesson).
I skipped a lot of details, but I gave him so many chances to take care of things. He had a good job with great pay, but he rather spend it on young girls (and I heard some was very young). One of those player types. I wish I knew about this before I got tangled in his web of lies. At least that chapter is over. I just now have to deal with the aftermath and pick up the pieces. I'm in a much better shape now than 24 hours ago.
Such up and downs have really taken a toll on me. The stress and worry hit hard on me and despite forcing myself to eat, I lost a lot of weight. I pretty much drained all my emotions. That last bit of good news turn it around for me. I can now get back into groove and hopefully finish those long due drawings. Maybe return to them this weekend if everything goes smoothly (I my luck actually holds this time).
Warning: car talk. Speaking of my crazy luck, I found out my axle on my car was bent on Saturday. Since it was late in the day, I had to wait till Sunday morning to get one out of a salvage yard (buying new costs way too much and take too long to order). I searched and did found one. I was very lucky too since the particular Trans Am has a fairly rare 9-bolt differential instead of the more common and weaker 10-bolt rear-end. In fact, it was the only one in the whole 15-acre yard. I pulled the axle out (was easy once I knew how).
I also found a rear disc rear-end out of a next generation Firebird. I gone ahead and bought that one too even though it's 2 inches wider than mine. All the brackets are the same, just wider. Since I plan to upgrading to newer rims anyway, which are easier to find in the larger offsets, I figure the extra 1.5 inches on each side would be just about prefect. It'll be a while before I stab the new rear-end into my car. If it turns out that I can't make it work, then I can always sell it, especially since it's kinda rare. I might even make a small profit on it.
An any rate, I got the replacement axle in the car on Sunday. I had to wait 24 hours for the RTV sealant to cure (The auto store closed before I could a gasket for the rear cover, which I didn't need to take off anyway as it turns out). I borrow a van to go to work on Monday. That's when I got the call about that so-called friend got re-arrested. I worked late to try to make up the hours I missed last week though I went home before it got dark. I wanted some sunlight to finish the axle job. I drove around a few miles to test it and it seems to be alright. I'll find out more going to work on Tuesday.
That "friend" still won't tell me where my car is, so I have to report it stolen. I can't do that till the end of the week (some really messed up reason I won't go into now). I don't that car back anyway. It's got full coverage and the insurance company would treat it like it totaled the car. I should get back blue-book value for it. We'll see about that. Looks like I have to press charges (something I rather now bother with but have to do). If He tells me where it is, I'll not need to press the charges. But he is leaving me with little choice. Oh well, more charges for him added to all the ones he has now. And I don't think he'll be able to lie out of these. In other words, he's toast. And it's all his fault.
Now if I can get more good news, I'll be so happy. More updates to follow as I get them and feel up to writing them down.

I knew he'll get caught eventually. I just glad it happened sooner than later. Ironically, it's better for him to get nabbed now that after he cross the state line. Then the charges would be more serious. Taking a stolen car over the state line much less jumping bail.
Well, at least I found a disc brake rear-end for my Trans Am, so that's one bright lining under the cloud.
It goes to prove that sometimes things works themselves out. I know other people have problems too and I wish them all the luck. I seen bad things happening to too many good people. I try to help as much as I can but never thought I would join their ranks. But I'm glad that things are finally looking up. Still have some ways to go, but the biggest issue is pretty much behind me. Now if I can get ahead of other "issues". I think I can manage now.
At least you have the peace of mind of justice for now. I don't know anything about cars, but I'm hoping the co-sign dealings go through well. After all you've been through and tried, you better get the good end of all this aftermath.
Good luck.
Since he still won't tell me where the car is, I'll settle with the insurance company. It'll be another charge on him, but he left me with no other choice. All his lies is finally catching up with him.
Why is it when guys who seems to get these second chances all the time keeps blowing them. Madness. He had so many. I left out the details (it'll fill a large book).
One example is when another co-worker sold him a car for 2 dollars (yep, a whole 2 dollars). It was an older car but ran well. All it needed was a new radiator. It leaked a little and needed to be filled with water every once in a while. Despite being warned about it, he didn't get a new one nor even bother filling it every so often. The car eventually overheated and blew the head gasket. It would take a weekend to place it but he didn't do it. He keep getting these breaks but just keep wasting it.
