This is a list of things I won't draw for commissions or otherwise. Simply to streamline commission journals. I'll be updating it as I think of new things.
Ignore the strange comments below- I hijacked an old journal so nobody would have to see a new post about this stuff.
What I won't do
-Firstly, I will not draw private pictures, no exceptions. I have absolutely no problem with delaying publicly posting a picture for a while to surprise someone with it, but I will not draw a private picture that never gets posted. I like to share!
-Obviously, the big ones- scat, watersports, excessive gore- basically anything that comes out of the body except for spoo, and maybe a little tiny bit of blood in certain situations.
-No cubs.
-Fat. Chubby and other flavours of not super-thin I can do, but very large or excessively heavy characters I can't. You can ask if you're not sure which side of the line your character falls on, but don't be offended if I turn it down- it's just not my thang is all!
-No commercial characters. Sorry folks, I have no real reason for not doing this other than it makes me uncomfortable. That means no digimon, pokemon, WoW characters, no yoshi, no sonic or krystal wannabe characters, no movie or game characters in general. I apologize for this but it's just how I am!
-Pregnancy of any kind, or anything relating to it happening or unhappening.
-This includes oviposition and all other egg related activities.
-Muscles. If your character is just well defined or in shape, that's fine, but if you've got a tank-like muscle creature, I'm not the best artist for that job.
-Vore.
-Excessive Hyper. To be honest, I don't mind a tiny bit of hyper, but I don't like to go too overboard. Don't be surprised if it's a no, but feel free to ask.
-Ferals, taurs, humans, other non-anthro things. (Feral dragons/grypons are sometimes an exception, depends on the situation. Ask away!) Just keep in mind I'm generally an anthro artist.
-Multi-anatomy. This is things like multiple arms, excessive multi-boobs, things like that... though there is a lot of room for adjustment here. I don't mind some things, so check with me if you're curious and I'll let you know.
Traditionally male bodies with female genitalia. The only gender/combo that I'm not really into. Not sure why, but I'd rather not draw them in adult situations. Note that this only applies to adult situations- obviously if you can't see the genitals then they don't really matter at all here.
Diapers.
A general rule of thumb, though, is don't be afraid to ask. There's a lot I don't like and a lot I -do- like, and a whole bunch more I just don't care about. But, I won't mock you or think down on anyone just for having an interest I'm not into. So if you're not sure or have something you want that seems maybe close to something here but isn't entirely, don't be afraid to ask! The worst you're gonna hear is me apologize and say I can't.
SHIPPING METHOD AND INFO
For traditional art, all pictures are shipped in a rigid photo mailer envelope. The envelope is thick and opaque so that the only possible way to see what's in the envelope is to actually open it up, meaning you should be the only one who ever has any idea of it's contents.
Shipping costs $8.00 dollars to the US or CAN, $12.00 dollars anywhere else in the world.

I'm also going to be having some slots up that are a random draw, so even if you don't get there right away, it's probably worth leaving a comment anyway.
I know it's not an ideal system, but it's the best I've got to address everyone who's interested these days x3
u hav very good art ;3 i will definatly commision u one day... when i hav money x3
lol. ur style is extremely unique :3
keep up the good work :P
So yeah, I'll do 'em, I just think others can do them much better. :P
That first character though, I couldn't draw that one for a lot of other reasons. :P
Anywho, your artwork is probably the best composed out of all that I watch, and every picture is a delight to see
Thanks,
Ren
The bad news is, that $40 actually became $50 recently, and I haven't updated this journal yet. You actually reminded me I need to do that and I've fixed it now, heh. The prices have been updated and you can take a look at 'em again if you wish.
Heh, but thanks! I'm always happy to hear when someone likes what I do! :3
I do all this through journals, so all you have to do is keep an eye out on my journals and leave a comment in one- if you're quick then you should be able to nab a spot. But, I do various things to make sure that everyone has a decent chance of getting in sooner or later, so don't get too discouraged if you miss the first time around. :P
Tempted to get a comm from you of juggling Easter eggs, just for giggles ;)
I'll try to head off some questions I'm expecting...
The size I'm hoping for pushes into roughly 3ftx4ft (.9m x 1.2m) (or something close to that, if those specific dimensions can't be met.)
The concept involves an anthropomorphic bat, wings spread wide, with a general cosmos-esque background. The wings, which would ideally constitute most of the picture, will be filled with intermingling memories of places and individuals. I understand your character pricing, but there are multiple settings and backgrounds. I'd like to somehow capture who I am through what I am, what made me who I am, and those that I care for in something tangible, realistic, and well done. You're the first person I'm going to.
I considered doing it electronically, but decided that by doing so I could never fully capture the effect that I wanted. That, and I'm hardly skilled enough to be satisfied with the end result if I did it myself.
I had to sit here and think about it for some time, it sounds like it would be an interesting picture to work on and I don't often stretch my creative muscles in that way, but the sad reality is I don't think I'm equipped to handle such a picture. I don't have a board big enough to staple a piece of paper of that size down to keep it flat while working, and my biggest brush is only about an inch long, I could never work on a piece of paper that big without brushes of the right size. Unfortunately I'm just not set up for the task!
Sorry I can't be more help for you, but I really do appreciate you coming to me with this request. Hopefully you'll be able to find someone who can do your ideas justice. :P
Thank you for even considering it. Maybe I'll have an idea more suited to regular paper in the future? =3
On the off chance that someone else well-suited artistically for the project exists, do you have a name or two that you would recommend as starting points?
Once again, thank you for considering it, and thank you for your time.
I'm honestly not much of a commissioner, I think I've bought maybe two in my entire life, so I don't really keep much track of who does them. If any names were popping into mind I'd happily send you their way, but unfortunately I got nothin'. Sorry!
Anyway, if you are, I have a proposition for you! Reply to this plz X3
Did that mean, if the characters have no visual relationship with any of those, they are fine? Or where is the border for those?
I'm going to assume you mean the species he's made up though. He seems to be okay with people making characters based off his species and getting commissions of them and such, so I've no problem with that.
Mainly the left character-

Never mind, though. :3
When you're getting into situations where you've got hoods and mitts and just straps and gear and rigging everywhere and it's really over the top, that gets to be a bit much for me and makes me a little uncomfortable. You can completely immobilize someone with a length of rope and four bedposts... that tends to be a bit more my style. :P That said, the vast, vast majority of bondage situations are going to be just fine with me, it's really only the extremely excessive stuff that gets to me a bit.
The scenes you're describing to me sound just fine.
Thanks!
I am not the least bit interested in cubs "that way", but I do like cubs who are, you know, just being cubs.
(You may assume for the sake of discussion, that we are not talking about cubs who are diapered, as you have a separate rule that addresses that.)
All my reasons are pretty lame, essentially boiling down to "I don't wanna", but it's pretty hard to do a good job on anything you have zero interest in, so for now I avoid it. I might work on them in the future, maybe... but no promises. :P
Having said that, if you asked me to challenge you to do anything from your list above as something to expand into, my first choice would be taurs/chakats. Children (in non-adult situations) would be my second choice.
I only ask because I'm considering commissioning you when I can, and I'm getting into game development, and there is the TINY chance that I could get a commission of a character of mine included in a game xP
"C-boys. The only gender that bugs me. I don't know why. Just don't want to draw it. :P"
The category has been essentially flooded with god knows how many characters who portray themselves as what usually looks like underaged girls by their appearance. I'm wondering if that is what usually bothers you about them which I can totally understand as it irks me as well and tends to be what bothers alot of people
On that I'm curious what your thoughts are towards Intersexed Male characters which prefer to portray themselves as more realistic in their body builds and retain a more defined Masculine Appearance.
For Example
Clean: 1 2
NSFW: 1 2
Would characters like these be acceptable to draw in either sexual or non-sexual scenarios (ie clothed/slice of life) imagery. I've wanted to commission you for a long while as I really do enjoy your artstyle,
Typically speaking, I prefer characters to be quite feminine. I find feminine characters more appealing. However, even in adult situations I'm not particularly fond of having a direct view of the lady bits for some reason, I guess I just find having to use the imagination sexier, somehow. C-boys tend to just combine the worst of both worlds. For obvious reasons they're a lot more masculine than any female, but since- visually speaking- the character is just a male with a vagina, you need a direct view in order to even know that they're a c-boy, so erotic art featuring them tends to put a huge focus on the stuff I really don't prefer seeing in the first place with characters I'm less fond of seeing to begin with.
...you see what I'm getting at? x3
I'd have no problem drawing at all drawing them clothed and in other tame situations, but I really struggle to get into them when drawing adult situations, and it's hard to do a good job on smutty stuff when you're not excited by it at all.
If I'm correct you much prefer "implied sex" erotica instead of OBVIOUS pornographic depictions in that case then?. If so would you consider allowing the Former with Intersexed male Characters where the interaction is implied but otherwise not seen, thus portraying a more erotic tone and not purely pornographic? Or again would you simply prefer to never draw them in any sexual situation regardless of the positions and other variables if you were given free reign over them for your own ease.
"I'd have no problem drawing at all drawing them clothed and in other tame situations" I'm glad you're at least ok with these. There's some artists I've ran into that are just completely no no no no I don't care no matter what regarding the issue xD
I might be willing to slide a bit on the idea, I'm not -disgusted- by them, I'm just not a huge fan and might find it hard to get into the subject matter if handled improperly. If I get to play it my way, I might be able to make it work.
Thank you for answering my questions. It's nice to know you're not off limits :)
I'd probably be willing to draw innocent things, like a mother holding a child or something, but I'm so uninterested in drawing children that I never learned and wouldn't be able to anyway, and don't really have any desire to learn, so I just leave it at a universal no to keep things simple.

One of your fellow Canucks drew him after hearing my stories..which was kinda funny since I'd seen the drawing and didn't realize for a couple years it was my vocal little tormentor 'til Kehza pointed it out. I'm kinda slow sometimes.
And rather than make a second post I'll just abruptly change directions to casually note that, after reading through all your replies to stuff here, the only boundary left to test is how far whamadoodle and sweater kitten sizes can be pushed before you start objecting!
As for the second bit, it's true that looking over this, a lot of my hard 'no' rules have become more like "eh, maybe' rules. The 'super hard bondage' rule is laughable at this point and I think I'm just going to remove it. I'm pretty comfortable with all things bondage at this point. x3
There are a few that are still a hard 'no' though. Some boundaries that haven't been pushed and probably won't any time soon. Diapers, vore, watersports and scat, c-boys, multi-limbed critters...
And of course, kids. Bleh.
Do you draw maleherms?
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/14077795/
Multi... but I would consider it within safe limits... buuut I'm not you, and our views can vary widely.
I have no problem waiting, but you'd probably have to remind me when it gets to be my turn. I'm bad at remembering who I've asked commissions from. lol
Don't think I will commission you anytime soon, though I'll definitely support you. And you're still one of my favorite artists.
Also, sorry to hear that you're transphobic.
I aspire to have my Watercolor work be of your quality (I don’t post my art here . )
I'll probably give prices a little bump in the future, I've just got some stuff I wanna get done before I do so. But I'm flattered you think I'm worth that much! :3
2. Watercolor being even more rare in the furry community
3. The paint and paper costs a lot
4. Tome it takes to master a skill
5. You not only do shading you do full out lighting techniques I can’t figure out for myself.
6. You give more detail to fur than 85% of artists out theee
7. Just a background should slap an extra 50$ onto a piece
8. You’re no amatuer. Charge what you are worth.
But I also don’t understand how Patreon works for creators . Or taking into account auctions/
All I know is I’m a couple steps under you in quality , I can get awY with charging 100$ A full body,
It means less work, for more money. Easier on you as an artist.
but wow how competitive it is qwq
I hope to get one day ^^ I really admire your work. <3
