Commission Terms
To inquire about a possible commission, please fill out my Commission Request Form or email me (scullyraptor@gmail.com) with decent references (attached or linked, or a precise description if necessary).
I reserve the right to be selective about which commissions I will take, based on subject, concept, and my availability.
Elaborate characters (wings, extra body parts, detailed patterns, etc.) may cost a little more, at my discretion, mainly because that sort of thing takes longer to do, and also may use more materials.
Payment can be made once I have agreed to your project. I generally prefer to receive full payment before starting, but I am open to discussing other options, such as installments made at art progress stages. I accept Paypal, Square Cash, Zelle, Google Wallet, Amazon and Target gift cards, but I am also willing to take Western Union, MoneyGram, and postal money orders (work does not begin until payment clears). If you need the items completed and/or mailed by a certain date, please include that in the email/request.
Approval/Revisions
Unless otherwise stated, for all inked/colored pieces, I will send you a sketch for approval prior to the inking stage. Any requests to change or add details must be made at this time, because it is difficult to do significant changes to the image once it is inked.
Any changes requested AFTER the sketch has been approved by you may be subject to an added revision fee, depending on the nature of the changes and the work it will involve to satisfy your request.
Streaming/Privacy
Depending on my schedule, I may stream live video of the progress as I work on projects. Please let me know if it is okay to stream video of your commission. If it is personal/private/a surprise for someone, that's totally cool, just let me know and I'll be happy to be discreet about it.
I am willing to schedule a time when you can watch. It's fun to watch artists work on things, especially when they're for you. So it's totally cool if you want me to wait until times when you're available. My streaming availability is dependent on my schedule, however, so please understand that I will make every attempt to accommodate you, within reason.
Shipping/What happens to the originals?
For physical artwork such as real media originals and/or digital prints, please include in your email what type of shipping you want, or if you want to pick it up at a convention I'll be attending (Usually FurFright and FA:United). Please add the cost of postage to the price of your commission, and provide the name & address they should be sent to.
Postage within the US:
First Class** with delivery confirmation $4
Priority Mail with delivery confirmation $6
(Please inquire for postage to other countries, it varies)
**ACEOs and 3x4" Standard badges are free First Class shipping to anywhere in the world.
Item Completion/Refunds
Once I get started on a commission, it is a fairly smooth process and I should be done within a week if all goes well. Smaller projects are completed much faster, under ideal conditions.
However, I am human and sometimes life gets in the way. As the Queue Status in my Journal footer will attest, I am in the process of catching up on some long overdue commissions.
Should you choose to cancel your commission and get a refund, I will understand.
Once I have begun work on your piece, should you change your mind and request a refund at that time, I will only refund the money for steps I have not yet completed.
