Howdy everyone!  asianeko here.

As most of you know, the Musician Spotlight has really been taking off, with more and more listeners every week! This got me to thinking... we need a proper intro/outro for the show! That is where you guys come in! I would LOVE to hear your compositions for an intro, outro, or both (both is preferred, but it's all good!)

Guidelines
The intro should grab the listeners' attention right off the bat. It is the first thing they hear after all! The outro should bring the show to a close, but keep the listener engaged.

The intro should be at least 60 seconds long, and the outro at least 20. I tend to start with the intro, then make a few announcements or blabber a bit before the pieces are Spotlighted. The end of the intro doubles as a back track for this part of the show. The first 2-5 seconds (depending on your piece) is what people will hear and remember, the rest will be playing quietly in the back. For the outro, the LAST part (or fade if you prefer) is what will be the most defined.

Please don't fade your intro so I can speak easily over it. I do that with my own program when I record, and that way it can be consistent show to show. You can fade your outro, if the ending is a fade out.

If you'd like to submit your intro / outro for consideration, just post it on this journal! I'll link to all of them at the end of the journal as they are posted. There is no winner or loser here, and as such there will be no voting. I may select one really good set, or I may alternate every week. Who knows, if we get a bunch maybe it'll consistently change!

I'll be taking submissions until July 31, though if we have some posted week to week I may/may not use them :P This has been extended, and I will be using different intros and outros each week until we run out :)
