AC Hat Sales

For those of you who stopped by my table at Anthrocon 2010, thank you! I made record sales, and sold so many commissions on the first day that I was unable to complete them all by the end of the convention! I sold a total of 35 custom hat commissions and 10 pre-made hats. 19 of those 35 were done at the con, and I will be posting pictures of them shortly...

"Hat Of The Con" for AC2010 absolutely positively has to be "Sloth", which was ironically the first one I made there...

I had a "nice" golden birthday as well! I turned 25 on the 25th, at AC. For dinner narse

narse bought me a Happy Meal at the scary McDonalds down the street from the hotel, and I proceeded to stay up from 10pm to 8am working on hats.

Around 4am, the Zoo was pretty much dead, save a few brave souls signing "Dragostea Din Tei"...
Around 6am a drunk dude passed out at my table while I was sewing. He's a heavy sleeper, I tell you hwhat.

After completing 8 hats overnight I went to the Brown Bag shop for breakfast (?) and headed RIGHT BACK INTO THE DEALER'S DEN. Now that's dedication!!

For the remaining 15 customers, I have your contact info, and I will get your hats done ASAP. My shipment from the con should be arriving tomorrow.

You worked so hard, on your hatchday of all days! I love my Taren hat :p now you still need to make yourself a Nemekh hat! I wore it all the way back to Scotland and it's really comfy to sleep in too.

I'm so glad we met and that you guys let me stay at yours for my brief stint in the desert. Gonna really miss you guys

So like, I should totally mention that there is nothing to stop someone from running 50 tabs of your programs at once... and that the tabs don't play nice... and that I hope I didn't break anything by doing so

Specifically, you end up with a lot of duplicate targets, array exceptions, and timeouts.

True, you could tab it up. But then you might get banhammered from FA!

I really tried as best I could to synchronize everything, but I guess it was just too much to ask of this fucked up gerry-rig. Could you private-message me with the error messages you're getting?

But, yes, this is great. I've got the applet open now...though i'm going to bed in a few minutes, so i'll only get a few people done, but...

I'll make sure to have it up when I get up and the entire time i'm on the computer i'll keep it running. That should help, right?

Did it reset when you did the sync-fix? When i went to bed it was somewhere between 2-3% but now its 1.09% :<

Doesn't seem to be any dupes now tho, awesome! Good job ^^

Yep. There were some issues with some users because of the duplicates, so I made it start fresh.

I just got 6 "Unrecognized UID" messages (Running it in 6 tabs, hammering the site, bad giz). Just once per tab, running fine again afterwords. No serious error i hope? Got it after it finished processing the users

Wow, you got that and you were only running 6 tabs?! That message means "you took too damn long". It'll appear if you take more than 10 minutes to process a single user.

If you're getting it frequently, let me know and I'll bump that threshold up to 15-20 minutes.

The time it takes to process each user seems to vary alot. Sometimes it is stable but sometimes each step takes minutes but the next users step might only take a couple of seconds. Each tab seems to be independent too, some fast some slow, Right now i got one tab that takes 5-10 sec for every step, but one other takes 2 minutes.. ugh oO

Just got back to the comp after being AFK for a few hours, its processing Zen and Zaush.. Pages 76 and 80.. Each got like 20-30 pages left to process. Seems to be going at 1 page every 1-3 minutes.. They are so gonna fail >_<

Try it again. I synchronized the backend as best I could, so you shouldn't get any more duplicates.
