So, here's the deal. My mother thought, that after ousting my furriness and my bisexuality at Memorial Day dinner, that I would quit being furry, dump my bf, and live a "normal life". She even went as far as to give me a choice: change or get out. As you know, we are who we are. I can't just change and live a lie. Needless to say, I am still a bisexual fur. I was able to talk her to kicking me out when I get the money and she gave me until October.
Now, after much calculations, I have come to the horrid realization that, with all the bills and educational expenses (not to mention, paying her rent money now), I won't make it to my goal of $4200 by the deadline and have to live in my car. And, I don't wanna do that.
Some of you may be wondering that if I have a boyfriend, why do I need your help? He isn't talking to me, as of late. I don't know why. So, help help for him looks very bleak.
What do I need from you? I need help making it to my goal of $4200. I'm able to raise somewhere between $800 to $1200 (i hope) on my own. I am doing this as a last resort. No one else will help. So, please, spread the word as well.
What can I do for you? I can somewhat draw (I've been out of practice for awhile) and even make "conbadge" t-shirts. I don't know off-hand where you live either, but getting on the local equivalent of the dole/unemployment benefits will help you out a lot too. It's not a lot of money, but it's better than no income at all until you can find the means to support yourself. Failing that, if there's a YMCA or similar nearby, you can at least get cheap/free roof over your head for a while. Again it's not much, but it will get better - a lot better than you'd ever feel giving in and living a lie just to have an easier time right now.
It's obvious your stupid boyfriend isn't interested if he hasn't spoken to you as of late.
Aside from that, get a fucking job.

Though, I guess he might have to be prepared to live in his car. In the end, it's all gonna boil down to if his mom's a deuce. I looked and saw, he's 21. Maybe she's making it look like she doesn't like his bisexuality, and is really just trying to get him out of his parents place to live on his own. I guess I want to be nice in this situation, but it looks like he had this coming.
I'm 17, 2 jobs, taking college on my senior year, and heck I'm gonna be ready to move out on time and get into business and surpass my parents.

Anyway, I'm going to be completely honest
My dad was going to force me into a situation I didn't want to be in, so I had to run away from home
I know what it's like to scrounge around and live on my own, and I've got to say, he's at least lucky enough to be able to have a car to live in.
Try not having a car or a license or anything and trying to make it.
From my perspective, he's got nothing to worry about as long as he's got a car.

Sometimes you need to make choices, this it one of those times.
you could:
-live in your car and study
-live a lie and stay with your mum
-start working full time and stop studying so you can afford to move out
even if you do end up raising this money, how do plan to pay rent, bills and cover all of your expenses?
again, i'm not trying to be mean (your lucky i sat down and had lunch before writing this, it would of sounded allot meaner if i went ahead and wrote it straight out :P)

not study-not an option. how am i going to move forward without a degree. ma would kill me if i stopped studying
covering costs-i going thru more interview then u can imagine. all say the same thing: "we'll call u if anything opens up".

Honestly, it wouldn't really be her winning, as long as you know who and what you are you'll be fine, i find this with allot of furrys, they get all bitchy when people don't accept them for being furry... but why do others need to know?
you don't -need- to go around saying your a furry to be one, just as you don't -need- to go around saying your bi.
and now for the advice bit~
see if you can find any cheep accommodation closer to where you are studying, study full time and get that out of the way and then go back to full time work, i know how hard it is trying to study and do other things on the side, lol, i wasn't even able to find a job while i was in school, it wasn't until i moved out that i found a proper job. (living away from home also makes you look more independent to employers, that's a good thing :P)
another thing, most mums will want you back as soon as you move out, no matter what she is saying now.
i got kicked out of home when i was 17 and moved interstate with the last $40 i had, a month later my mum was begging me to come back, so you could always try staying with a friend for a while and see how it goes.?
