The LA-SPCA has become inundated with local fishermen and other folk affected by the oil spill who can no longer afford to keep their animals. Rather than euthanize all of the animals due to lack of space, they came up with a better idea--find a way to help the locals afford their pets, so that their loved ones could stay with them.

Send me a screenshot or reciept as proof that you donated (the amount must be on the reciept), and a link to a character, an emotion (happy, sad, mischeivious...) and whether you want them nude or clothed. You can send me links to screenshots via PM or through email at mvigeant86@gmail.com. I will make sketches of a quality determined by the donation--larger donations = more time spent, 1 dollar donations = quickie sketches. For donations of $15 or more, you can suggest 2 characters. $20 gets some detail to a background and $25 gets you three characters (may be a group shot, or might be 3 seperate pics). If you want to see examples of my sketchwork it can be found by flipping through my scraps.

Unless the donation is $20 or more, I get to choose pose etc. For complicated characters if you only give a dollar it will most likely be a headshot or the like. If you donate a crazy amount of money I can give you my gratitude but I cannot offer more than a few group sketches per person. For donations over $75 I will do a one character full-color peice with a possible simple color background . (EX: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3572927/)

The sketches will be scanned in, not shipped, though if you buy something else down the road I can ship it then. If you donate more that $20 I'll gladly reconsider, I just don't want to be shipping out a bunch of $1 sketches, it's just not worth the hassle or the shipping expense.

I will be doing these all evening and into the night =3 just send those donations, link me to the proof and I'll draw for you. All of them will be done by the weekend's end (unless I tell you otherwise, if I get swamped), though most will be done tonight and tommorow night.


As before, I am running a contest for free art--link back to this journal (personal words of your own explaing the project are awesome<3) in a submission or a journal and comment here with a link. I'll randomly choose one to give a free colored sketch commission to late tonight.
