Questions:
How much time does it take you to make these?:
For the Small Characters, about 2-3 hours. I'd imagine the larger ones would just double from there.

How large are the characters?:
That all depends on the size of the sprite art work I use for reference. Each pegboard is about the size of a CD case, so a Medium Character would be 10-12 inches tall and/or long.

What's a Mini Character?:
Usually a "chibi" version of an character. Here are two examples of a mini charizard:
