The furry tarot deck

The idea hit me, when I stumbled across yet another calendar commission thingie. The story goes like this: artists sell spots on calendar pages (sometimes 12 spots for a monthly calendar, sometimes 52 pots for a weekly calendar). And some of those artists are even brave enough to have those calendar pages actually print and sell them, which gives them a nice extra money.
Now, I personally don't like calendars. But I do like the idea of bringing together various furry characters. And just then I had the idea: An artist could sell spots on tarot cards. A lot of furries like mystical and occult stuff. Plus thanks to many mangas tarot has become part of today's pop culture.
Think about it: There are 22 Major Arcana (Trump cards). That would make 22 spots. The topic for the cards are given by their tarot meaning. So an artist would have a solid ground to start from. But he would draw furry characters into a scene based upon that topic.
Were I a good artist, I wouldn't sell all 22 spots at once. I'd auction off two or three spots per week. Why not take advantage of the fact that some cards are more popular than others (at least I'd expect this)? Of course I'd set a minimum bid to make sure they don't go away for nothing. And if no one shows interest into a certain card? No problem, push them back and try to offer them later again.
That might work, because I would expect that once the tarot thing is going on for three or four weeks word might spread that this tarot thing is going on and more and more potential customers might have a look at the spot auction.
Of course there is still the option to actual sell real card decks at a furry convention or by internet. But I'd do this only if people really really want them bad. Having a customized card deck printed is possible, but still it is a risky investment. And you'd have to make sure that people agree by bidding for a spot that you'd sell the card decks later.
And if 22 spots are too few for your ambitions? Then you can always think about going for the 56 Minor Arcana (Suit cards) and complete the deck.
So - that's my idea.
But I am not an artist so... the idea is wasted spinning around in my head.
That's why I've written it down here. Maybe there is an artist who would like to pick it up? Feel free to help yourself and take it as inspiration.
And if you really would like to thank me for the inspiration this journal might give you, save me a spot on a card

I did a Death card for a friend in like, 6th grade. It had a caracal character I had made up on it and a lot of details. She was really into Tarot, so I had to read like, a bunch of Golden Dawn stuff and get all of the symbolism right.. you know, hourglasses and eggs and scorpions and whatnot.
Of course there will be "the defenders of the true tarot symbolism" to whine about thet. But meh... there will always be whiners telling you that your art is totally drawn the wrong way...
