Today, there was a terrible accident. Two school buses packed with high school students and a semi truck were involved in a collision on the highway. At least 50 injured, 2 confirmed deaths, one being the semi driver, the other a student.

If you're the praying type, please keep the St. James High band in mind. They had just finished band camp and were on their way to Six Flags to celebrate when this tragedy struck.

If you are or were in marching band in high school, you know how close every member of the band is. Band is a family. And if you've ever met other band kids, you are like family as well. I am greatly saddened by this tragedy. I've for all intents and purposes lost a member of my family. St. James will remember this in years to come, and I'm afraid the scar will take a long time to heal for all of them.
