the closest thing I can think of is a knight? and if that is the case, that's what the gaurd is, I just get tired of stickingto the generic rpg chr classes

it's an RPG term, basically a class who's main goal is taking hits, but instead of using magic or agility or something like that it uses a shield and a stick.

and yeah the guard shield just makes me go O.o

it looks like it would be REALLY awkward to try and hit something, and the lack of a smooth surface would just enable someone of ripping it out of your hands.

yeah, more for looks than being actually plausible,plus the whole idea of that armor set was justto look heavy and impenatrable

eh, well see I want an armored picture for Ral, actualy Ral started out as an Pen and paper Role play character, just I would much rather chose my own armor.

Can't find a pick of the legs but it's just some light plate greaves and boots.

As for weapons they usually carried a one handed Warhammer, and some had a towersheild with the polish crest
