██████████████████████████████████████████████████████████ Last night per usual I was watching my grandfather.
Unfortunately he had to be taken to the emergency room in the early morning hours. To which I had no choice but to call 911 because upon doing my normal checking up on him to make sure he's dry while he sleeps, I came upon him in a very weakened state trying to get up. His whole lower body covered in blood (among other natural body substances).
Naturally I freaked out because I thought he was going to die, but I kept a cool enough head to help him move off and away from the mess to clean him up enough to try to relax and ease whatever pain and discomfort he was in.
I was shaken up a bit because as you can assume this event was far from the norm by any stretch of the imagination. But rest assured I'm fine
This morning I received a call from my Aunt whom went with my grandfather. She said he's stabilized and on pain medication as he continually complained of abdominal pains. But he's set to go in for a cat scan shortly, along with some tests to determine what happened.
Her and I believe it may have been a bleeding ulcer of some sort, though I'm thinking his severe indigestion may have been a contributing factor in some manner, shape or form or which ever.
At any rate I know he's in good hands, and that they'll take care of him and get him back to health where we can resume our daily care for him at home.
For those wondering what his condition is it's as follows.
Age:87
Illnesses:
Spinal Cancer (which migrated from his prostate)
Dementia
Alzheimer
Type 2 Diabetic
Surprisingly enough with as progressed as each of those ailments have become we still feel he's got at the very least 5 years left before he goes. And this incident doesn't affect that feeling.
For those reading this and sending your best wishes and or prayers, I certainly appreciate it, and thank you. I'm going to do my best to continue doing whats needed, and with the support of those closest to me I'll be fine.
Love you all ^^ (especially my Serkeetah)

OP
I'm sure he will. I'm inclined to believe it actually is a bleeding ulcer. Which the medication the can give him should help speed up his recovery.
