Starting Over - Reintroducing Myself
This is cross posted from my LJ, I'm posting it cause I want people to know more about the real me, a lot of shit has gone down for me lately and I just want to get a fresh start, you know? So here it is:
Personal:
My name is Christopher (much prefer Chris, Nemmy is fine also), and I'm a 27 year old male. I'm about 5'8" - 5'9", brown hair, brown eyes (with glasses), average build.
I was born February 7, 1983 at Fort Belvoir down in Virginia. My dad was in the army and my younger years were spent moving all over the place, I don't remember all of the places exactly but they included Georgia, New York, Germany, Virginia(twice), and finally New Jersey.
I've lived in Jersey since the 3rd grade and now I live in Northern New Jersey on my own in a one bed room apartment I've been renting for 3 years.
I have one sister who is 23 years old still living with my parents.
I am single and I am bi-sexual, leaning more towards women. I've been in two physical relationships, one with a man one with a woman.
I have no debt.
I drive a 2006 Saturn Ion which is fully paid off now.
I have a rather laid back personality. I'm easy to befriend, I try to be kind and caring towards all those who treat me well. I may come off as shy and aloof at times, it is nothing against anyone, it is just that I can be uncomfortable jumping right into a new friendship because I fear rejection, I am not as confident as I let on, especially lately.
I've made my share of mistakes, hurt my share of friends, but I never go out and think I just want to make someone miserable. When I hurt someone it is either because I made a terrible assumption that was wrong or because there is some situation between two friends that I really just can't ignore and I have to choose one or the other. No one ever makes the right choice all the time and I regret if I've ever truly hurt someone.
Career:
I attended Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ and attained my BS in Computer Science in 2006.
While studying, I worked at the bowling alley which was in the main building on campus.
I was also part of the co-op program which gave me experience interning at Datascope and ADP during my summers.
I was accepted into my current job right out of school (don't want to say the name as I don't want search engines finding it). My current title is Senior Computer Analyst and I rake in 58.6k a year. I work with several different languages and tools.
Interests/Hobbies:
Obviously the biggest interest that has had an impact on my life has been the furry community, I've been around in it since 2001, started going to conventions in 2004 and haven't looked back since. My connection to dragons in more personal and not one I wish to go into here.
Outside of being a furry I enjoy the following:
Walking/Hiking (I find this the best way to clear my head), bowling, tennis, racquetball, any casual sport really, gaming (PC, Wii, DS), reading, cooking, coffee, pro hockey (NJ Devils), pro football (NY Giants), hanging out, casual drinking, animals, writing.. to name a few.
I like going to amusement parks, to the movies, out for food, out just for the sake of being out. Though if all else fails, my day typically consists of work, a 2-4 mile walk/hike, cooking/gaming/chatting/reading.
My idea of a date would be dinner, movie, stop for some coffee, and walk along one of the lakes/rivers in the area, star gazing while sipping our drinks and just talking.
Future:
Well, I am comfortable where I am for now but I do not see myself staying in New Jersey forever, I already feel the urge for a big change in my life but I want to wait to see what else is in store for me. Obviously I don't plan on living in a little apartment my whole life, I have bigger plans and I guess I'm waiting for that special someone to share them with. But until then I'll be here in my little den, working like a good boy.
Questions? I don't know what else to say really. But I'll answer anything you guys might want to know.

Welcome to the club (again) :p
Funny how interconnected everything is when you look at the big picture. :)
*nuzzles* You have lots to offer, and you can safely go out with confidence. For the short time I met you, I can tell you're a very generous, kind and friendly person. Believe it!
The only question I have is this: what kind of music do you like?
Why have all the Weyrfolk fled? :)
always want to get to know you better *hugs*
and yes, I guess I'm enough of a stalker to read several-month-old journals.
If you ever come down to Kings Dominion or Busch Gardens I'll buy you lunch. :D
Likewise, if you're ever around north jersey, let me know :)
