VERY confusing bunch of ideas I'm trying to sew together

Me and Wolf-chan were trying to think of some ideas for a manga. I was listening to All The Right Moves by OneRepublic and I had this idea I need critique on. I know it's messy and utterly confusing, but if you're willing to melt your brains we can try...
NOTE: I'm not saying I'm going to start a comic about this now. That's not what I mean. But I think it's a good idea to keep on storage for later ^_^

In the corridor, she meets three teens: a tough-looking seventeen-year-old girl with piercing golden eyes and a whip in her hand (Ren), a seventeen-year-old silver-haired boy with almost white eyes and a calm smile (Scynxe Caius or Cai), and an eighteen-year-old boy with sleek black hair tied in a ponytail and blood red eyes (Kuran Harada). Ren wants to bully Arya, and when she asks her what had she done to her, she replies that on that place only the toughest would survive. Cai comes though and calms Ren, telling her that Arya does not look like on of them. At this point, Kuran looks up and recognizes her from the last night's fight. He tells the others she needs to talk to the Headmaster, and takes her with him.
There, the Headmaster explains her that this college is a haven for a kind of creatures called the Cursed Marks. Each Mark was branded at birth with a certain curse, such as Pain, Oblivion, Madness (respectively Kuran's, Cai's and Ren's) by imprinting it with a special sphere. There was also a college for the Blessed Marks, which held Beauty, Trust, Cheer. Both colleges were trained to fight off the Strays, Marks that had ran away and took a path of crime and bloodlust. There was a rivalry between the Cursed and the Blessed, obviously, and each year the final exams were a competition between the two Colleges (with duels n' stuff), which always led to a great loss of lives. That year's exam is nearing, and they need all the members they can have. The Headmaster tells Arya that the shadows that had killed her parents tonight were some of the most wanted Strays, and that she was their true victim. So she must be in some way related to the world of Marks, and the Headmaster suggests to 'test' her by dropping her blood in a sphere used to imprint seals. Such procedure should reveal what her Seal was, if she had one.
At first Arya refuses to believe all of this, but finally she gives in and accepts the test. It is then revealed she is a Cursed Mark under the seal of Hope. This confuses her, and Kuran explains gloomily that there is a prophecy about such thing:
"And when those who are strays from their Marks have joined their strengths and the moon is the colour of the blood, then under the Seal of Hope will a savior come. But the Seal of Hope is a cursed one, for Hope only leads to Delusion, yet it can break the grip of Darkness and set us free."
Arya is scared by this prophecy, but the Headmaster tells her she will be placed within Kuran's team (him, Ren and Cai) and that she must start her training, for the Exams are nearing. Arya is stunned, because she had never fought before, and asks him how is she supposed to learn it all in a few weeks. At this, Kuran snickers and tells her that here only the toughest come through, and that they wouldn't let her slacken up just because she's a newbie.

Now, the Marks have a human form, but when they summon their Seal, their forms change.
i.e. When Ren summons her Seal of Madness, the sclera of her eyes becomes fully black with only a white dot instead of an iris, and only one black wing appears on her back. This allows her to be the quickest and deadliest fighter yet in the Cursed College. She fights with a whip.
When Cai summons his Seal of Oblivion, he becomes invisible. He fights with a silver sickle.
When Kuran summons his Seal of Pain, the scars on his body start to glow and he can open wounds without physical contact at living things in a range of ten meters (this number varies with the available energy and can be extended by training). He fights with a long katana.
When Arya summons her Seal of Hope, she becomes a shape of golden light that can't be harmed while she's in that form. But she can't stay for too long like that, seeing as it consumes a lot more of energy than any other Seal. She wights with a bow.

The plot starts with the training for the exams, then with missions against Strays and so on. And as you may be able to tell, there's going to be a character with the Seal of Delusion further on.
Confused? So am I. But if you managed to make sense of it, please tell me what it is.
Or, if you simply ignored the wall of text and scrolled down... To sum it up, expect the appearance of some refs of Arya, Kuran, Cai and Ren (bunch of new chars), plus some other arts. That's it.

I can tell you that if this story sees the light of day I will read it. I know this genre is not really my type, but it sounds interesting enough to get sucked in past the first few pages. Looks forward to seeing more.
