Hello there,
As I said in my latest post, I said that I'm opening 3d printing commissions !

Since I have already a lot of work to finish (animations), and
remcohn (the owner of the 3d printer) is really busy at the moment, there is a limited number of only 3 slots.
If you're interested, just send a note, but of course after reading everything below...
Like in my animation journal, plz no "OMG IT'S FUCKING EXPENSIVE" or whatever. If you're not interested, you don't post. Thanks ! :D
As usual, it's not closed as long as I don't say that it's closed.
Prices, rules and technical limiations
First about the stuff that I will make or not :
- genders : female, male or herm is fine
- No more than two characters
- adult or clean is fine
- no cub, nor babyfur. For the others fetishes, it's discussable
technical limations
- Of course, you can choice the pose of the character(s), but there are some technical limations :
For reasons of solidity, the arms and legs must be attached to the ground, to the body (only for arms), or to another character (if there are two characters). If you're not sure about a pose, just ask :)
Pricing
/!\ All prices are in EURO € and NOT in USD $ /!\
characters models
New character(s) : 100 € per character (Can be more if complicated)
Character(s) already made : 50 € per character
It's a bit more expensive than characters for animations,
because of the additional work to make it printable.
prints
As you can guess, the price of the "print" depend on the quantity of material used.
So if the character is fat or thin, if the print is big or smaller, if there are 1 or 2 characters... the price won't be the same,
but I can give some price estimations :
1 character, full size ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4489596, http://horse.elynx.fr/IMG_3653.JPG the colors are wrong, but it's just to show the real size )
About 25 cm long : About 200€
Half size : About 40€
two characters : It's just twice as expensive :D
You can also have a size between the full size and half size. For example if you want a 80€ print, it's possible :)
shipping
The piece will be shipped from the Netherlands (or maybe from France)
The prices for the tracked airmail shipping from NL are :
NL: €7, EU: €14, rest (US, canada, etc): €25
I don't know the prices for the shipping from France, but in my opinion it's not really different.
extras
Wooden base : free !
synthetic hair (only on bigs models) : +5€
So if you want the have the final price, just take the price of the character setup, the print and the shipping. :)

Check out my gallery to see what kind of work I'm capable of. If you find it worthy of prints, please do pass it on and ask him, or if you'd rather, I could ask him myself, I just wanted to go through "proper channels" to avoid offending anyone.
Personally I'm just paid to make a model, textures, pose, etc... just the character setup, the rest is for him.
By the way, I looked at your gallery, and there will be some problems of solidity (the tail and the legs), but otherwise I think that's is technically possible.
To reply your second post "why france or netherlands"
France... because I live in France. It can be shipped from there if I have to add hair or/and a wooden base.
Also, I'm fairly familiar with 3D print technology in theory. Haven't actually printed anything yet, am going to be doing some very shortly, but I have been studying it for over a year now, so I've got a handle on what some of the limitations are. If it gets to a point where I can get something printed, I'll make sure to get the minimum thicknesses needed for support from him. That is one of the drawbacks of the full color sandstone on a Zcorp printer. Which is what it looks like this is.

Great if you know the limiations of this technic of 3d printing. We had a lot a problems with the example model (savoy), A leg, the left arm and the tail broke in the first tries. but It's also possible to have an "epoxy resin" print which is 5 times stronger than this one, but obviously it will be really more expensive ! (I don't know the details since the printer is not mine)
The example print looks exactly like their full color sandstone option. Not that it's impossible for anyone else to have the machine. But why France, or Netherlands?
1. did you get my e-mail with regards to the animation?
2. Is it alright to delay payment on the 3d character and be able to take up a slot?
If the answer is yes to #2 I'd like to take up a slot. For Rithnok.

2) I won't work on it right now, so if you can pay later, it's okay. Since the money for the 3d print material is not for me, the full payment will be needed in once.
As for the second point, it would be great to have a 3d print of Rithnok (Which you already have as a Banked Render.) I'll send you both pieces of information tonight when I have a moment.
The short and Sweet of my E-mail, I had been told payment had been sent to you while I was away on Military course so I didn't think second of it, and when I got home my roomate told me he used the cash for Groceries. Which of course delayed me.

The problem is that when I posted the example picture, so many people "oh wow, I'm interested", now I post the journal with prices : nobody.
I'm exagerating a little bit, I'll have no problems to find 3 interested people (it's almost done). I understand that the prices asked aren't nothing, but those who expected something cheap are kidding themselves. I had the same problem with animations.
Btw, I can't afford a mercedes benz too, but I prefer my Citroën Xantia! :D

As I said in my animation journal, I don't make humans characters. I forgot to say it here, but the rule is the same. Plus as you said, the hair would have been a problem for the 3d printer.
On the other hand, your character looks doable, that tail shouldn't cause any problem if the pose of the character is fine. Anyway, I already have 3 interested people, but It's still not sure,I'm wainting for confirmations. I'll let you know if someone cancelled, if you're still interested, of course.
et je voulais aussi savoir si c'était toujours possible du coup vu que je remarque que le poste date d'il y a plusieurs année :S
