Okay, besides that.
I've become addicted to snakes. By next weekend I will have a total of FOURTEEN SNAKES.
That's right. FOURTEEN.
I will have 9 corn snakes, three ball pythons, 1 dumeril boa, and 1 albino ruby-eyed california king snake. My hoggy will be going to
runninghorsespirit since I decided I'm not interested in hognoses anymore. I am hoping to get at least one more dumeril boa and one more king snake to make sure I have at least two of everything.
Today, I got my first dumeril boa and a sub-adult 3 year old over 3 foot ball python female named Saphira - FOR FREE. The owners really needed to find homes for them (they have a five month old child plus two five-six year old boys and had no time for the snakes). Saphira has proven to be one amazing python. She loves being handled, loves curling around my neck and relaxing, and is extremely curious. The lady said she has never struck or bitten anyone and ONLY hisses when she's shedding.
As for the dumeril..(no gender yet, or a name), s/he got a little snippy when I finally got him home (probably stress) but otherwise seems fine at being handled.
I will upload some pics of the two later..considering I need help figuring out what sort of morph Saphira is (I don't think she's a normal...I have it narrowed down a few)
Next weekend I will be getting three more snakes. I will be getting my hands on a breeding adult pair of albino corn snakes, as well as another butter hatchling THAT IS EATING (unlike Miss Chi who is still being force fed..)
Anyways.
As far as arts go. I am ALMOST DONE with the commission. I have to color the second part, add shading and a background...and I'll be finished. Then I have only TWO requests left...and the two trades. This past week has been BUSY. Projects, homework, etc, so I apologize for the delay. I should have the commission done tomorrow and hopefully the final two requests and maybe part of the trades (I hope..I have things to do tomorrow as well). Don't worry, I'm doing what I can when I can.
ONE MORE THING.
I do not look for critique on my art. If you don't like it, don't comment. I don't want to hear it. I improve as I go, so I really don't want snide remarks or even things that remotely sound rude. If you do, I'll just delete the picture, reupload it and block your ass.
Do you see a "I love critique" anywhere on my page? No. If I ask for it, I ask for it. But when I don't ask for it. DON'T RESPOND WITH NEGATIVITY. Kay? Yes, I know some artists like critique. But I'm not looking for it, alright? So don't bother!
(There's a reason I am posting this. The same chick who said my art was shit and is one of those perfectionists - if its not perfect it sucks types - commented on one of my things again. I won't tell you who or what picture but..yeah. I'll unwatch her later. Lot of bullcrap if ya ask me. The person's a jerk anyway...me and my friends think so anyway.)
