intolerence comes in many forms, be it one's nation skin or fetish.. that being said I can see why some people do freak out over some of the more unorthodox fetishes and to be truthful I myself in the past have been guilty of some fetish stereotyping and bashing.. but I guess those that say it destroys their faith in humanity have kinda (and I know I'm gonna get flamed for this) forgot that "humanity" is all about varied expression, even types that are not always talked about at the dinner (or even workshop) table..
Anyway, any more talk like this and people may actually think I have a brain, which would totally ruin my reputation..
Uhm.. hope my rambling is at least partially translatable, now to return to drawing stupid little signs and whatnot in my quest for attention. ^.^

Im usually not bothered but the fact that people can enjoy guro, that depresses me. So perhaps theres some similarity in that and other people who would claim they lost hope for humanity.

I really have to wonder how fucked up someone is in the head to get off to someone being chopped up while still alive or other similar things, or say raping a baby till it pukes its ruined organs, and so on. Besides just being utterly disgusting, its somewhat worrying, as there have been at least a few baby rapists in the news over the last few decades, and of course rape/murder crimes where the body isnt just did its mangled or something. So there might be an issue of people who already have a pretty fucked up idea of sexuality feeling a sense of some community no matter how small, or some acceptance, and it getting worse, rather than just some escapism in some very bad japanese drawings.

Regardless of that though, I cant say thatd make me lose hope in humanity, just those individuals. Thatd be like saying because some people believe in the Hitler brand of national socialism, Ive lost hope in all of humanity due to those individuals.
