When i first started playing WoW, i was always told that the younger people chose alliance on the idea that it was the "Good" races.

Amusingly within the storyline the Horde are definitely the more...morally good people by every stretch in the storyline.

But yeah, younger people, more immaturity.

xD The Forsaken aren't the scourge, bare in mind they have a good reason to be pretty messed up individuals. But bear in mind the alliance(or their races) are responsible for a lot of the crap in the world.

You mean like that one quest in the Undercity where a tauren has come to the Forsaken for help with her unidentifiable disease, so the apothecary sends you to get a bunch of ingredients, you bring them back, he feeds her the potion...and she keels over dead?

Or where you get sent to Stonard in order to feed a supposed truth serum brewed by the Forsaken in order to interrogate him, only to give it to him and it kills him and warp him into a mindless ghoul before he can finish a sentence about the Forsaken betraying the Horde?

Or when another apothecary sends you to get some fel-tainted water from Hellfire Peninsula so he can feed it to a helpless captured Draenei just to see what it does, and noting that he needs another test subject when the draenei predictably keels over on the spot?

Or the one where they kill hundreds of Alliance and Horde soldiers at the Wrath Gate, including Saurfang the Younger, and doomed Bolvar Fordragon to torture at the hands of the Lich King, when it's revealed that a significant portion of the Forsaken, particularly the Royal Apothecary Society, have rebelled and taken over the Undercity, whereafter Varian rallies the Alliance and takes down Apothecary Putress while Thrall kills Varimathras, only for Varian to turn his attention to Thrall in the midst of unadulterated rage after the death of his oldest and dearest friend at the hands of those Thrall gave asylum and power?

Or in the near future, when Sylvanas takes control of the masterless Valkyr and uses them to raise new Forsaken, ripping the unwilling and unwitting from their rightful deaths to bolster her own forces, effectively succeeding the Lich King in practical function?

The forsaken didn't betray the horde. The Royal Apothecary did, most of the things you mention is in regards to the Royal apothecary society.

That's if you believe Sylvanas really had nothing to do with it.

The RAS' attack at the Wrathgate's intended outcome was for Arthas to be killed- the Alliance and Horde were just incidentally there drawing him out. One theory is that the real reason Sylvanas was not taken in the Undercity coup was that she was in Northrend at the time, waiting to seize the Helm of Domination. That Varimathras' betrayal was expected and counted on to make a fall guy when the plan failed. Of course, this is only theory.

Regardless.

She's repeatedly shown absolute disdain for members of the Horde not of the Forsaken- just look at her behavior in the Pit of Saron compared to Jaina's. She's using the blight made by the Apothecary against Gilneas and also Southshore. In the revealed exchange between her and Garrosh when he's questioning her about the Val'kyr, she's OPENLY TAUNTING HIM about how she can't be trusted.

I don't bother arguing over which faction is better, though I still wish they would make a Neutral faction. Though I do agree, running into people who are in the alliance and actually don't act like douchebags is rare, I have like a 10 page ignore list, only reason why I don't go horde is that none of the races or talents appeal to me.

Um, race skills doesn't make a better character.

I honestly prefer an Alliance character, but I like the Horde better... waaay better..

My blood-elf started out acting like every other blood elf, but being forced to travel with trolls and tauren taught him to develop into a better person. Now he's witty and courageous XD

I'unno. I personally get tired of seeing a Horde bias in things in the first place. Not many people are huge supporters of the Alliance because folks find them boring or something. *shrugs* No clue, really. XD I like both sides, because it's all just a game, and both have fun quests and lore. :P

I hear ya. I have met a few people like that on horde side but most of those people who have this great intense hate just keep it quite and just go pvp. Perhaps that is a fundamental thing that the alliance members you are speaking about are missing...the good sense of just taking it out in game by killing the opposite faction instead of bringing it out of the game and trolling artists.

Anyone showing some sort of retarded loyalty for either side is a jackass really. Mind you, I've mooostly played Alliance (probably due to friends for awhile), love both sides anyway, however in my experience it's usually been Horde who were really abrasive. Probably just the realms I was on though. Although I have seen a rather big migration of bad players to Horde ever since Beef Elves came in... :<

They've been playing for years, they got all their titles and nice things, and I'm still struggling to get things with no one to help me... (I don't have as bad of a like for WoW, but because of Hallow's End and my want of a headless horseman horse, I've been trying to rush to 80 with little time to do so)

Speaking as an alliance person, I find little to no community in WoW. Maybe I'm in the wrong guild, but I tend to ignore most random people running about. It's so rare that I find someone and continue talking to them after some .. raid, or instance, or whatever.
